Steven Paul Jobs, an American business magnate, industrial designer, investor, and media proprietor wa born on February 24, 1955.
He was the co-founder, chief executive and chairman of Apple Inc. Jobs is widely recognized as a pioneer of the personal computer revolution of the 1970s and 1980s, along with Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak. Besides Steve Jobs was also the chairman and majority shareholder of Pixar, a member of The Walt Disney Company's board of directors, and the founder, chairman, and CEO of NeXT.
In 1976, at the age of 21, Steve and Wozniak started Apple Computer in the Jobs’ family garage. They managed their primary fund by Jobs selling his Volkswagen bus and Wozniak selling his beloved scientific calculator. Three years after the release of ‘Apple II’, the company's sales increased by 700 percent to $139 million. In 1980, Apple Computer became a publicly-traded company, with a market value of $1.2 billion by the end of its very first day of trading. After leaving Apple in 1985, Jobs returned to his post as Apple's CEO in 1997. Just as Jobs instigated Apple's success in the 1970s, he is credited with uplifting the company in the 1990s. In the following years, Apple introduced such revolutionary products as the Macbook Air, iPod and iPhone, all of which dictated the evolution of technology. Almost immediately after Apple released a new product, competitors scrambled to produce comparable technologies. In 2011, Forbes estimated the majority of Jobs’ net worth at around $6.5 billion to $7 billion from his sale of Pixar to the Walt Disney Company in 2006. However if Jobs had not sold his Apple shares in 1985, when he left the company he founded and helmed for over a decade, his net worth would have been a staggering $36 billion.
Jobs died in Palo Alto on October 5, 2011, after battling pancreatic cancer for nearly a decade. He was 56 years old.

Bill Gates, in full William Henry Gates III, (born October 28, 1955, Seattle, Washington, U.S.), American computer programmer and entrepreneur who cofounded Microsoft Corporation, the world’s largest software business through technological innovation, keen business strategy and aggressive business tactics. In the process, Gates became one of the richest men in the world. Gates grew up in an upper-middle-class family with his older sister, Kristianne, and younger sister, Libby. Their father, William H. Gates Sr., was a promising, if somewhat shy, law student when he met his future wife, Mary Maxwell.

He was a National Merit Scholar when he graduated from Lakeside School in 1973. He scored 1590 out of 1600 on the Scholastic Aptitude Tests (SAT) and enrolled at Harvard College in the autumn of 1973. He chose a pre-law major but took mathematics and graduate-level computer science courses.
