BU Research & Higher Education Society Barishal University Research & Higher Education Society is a student-based research platform.

Barishal University Research & Higher Education Society (𝗕𝗨𝗥𝗛𝗘𝗦) is the first independent student-based research and higher education society at Barishal University. Its adventure began on March 10, 2020, with more than 50 enthusiastic youngsters. Now, more than 600 aspiring researchers are volunteering their time with us, and have a good reputation.

BURHES serves as a platform to groom students as potential researchers and prepares them for higher education abroad. We organize seminars, webinars, workshops, and contests on research and higher education, providing guidance and resources to help students achieve their goals.

🔵 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
• Must be an undergraduate student of University of Barishal.
• Must have strong aspiration for research or higher studies (or both).
• Must be active and dedicated to assigned responsibilities.

🟣 𝐁𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐬:
• Work in a research-oriented and higher education environment.
• Enrich your curriculum vitae with extracurricular activities.
• Grow and strengthen communication and leadership skills.
• Access to all club activities, workshops, and sessions (free or half fee).
• Receive certificates upon completion of the membership period.

In Memoriam

We are deeply saddened by the tragic demise of Hussain, a student of the Department of Bangla, University of Barishal, from the 2021–22 academic session, after a prolonged battle with illness.

On behalf of Barishal University Research and Higher Education Society (BURHES), we express our deepest condolences to his family, friends, classmates, and all those who knew him.

May Allah (SWT) forgive all his shortcomings, grant him Jannatul Ferdous, and give his bereaved family the strength and patience to endure this irreparable loss.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.
