ঈদের আনন্দে ভাসুন বিদেশের বাঙালির সাথে! 🇧🇩

বিইউ রেডিও আপনাদের জন্য হাজির করছে এক অসাধারণ অনুষ্ঠান 'দেশ বিদেশ, ঈদ উৎসব'!

১৪ই এপ্রিল, রবিবার, সকাল ১১:৩০ মিনিটে (বাংলাদেশ সময়) আমরা বিদেশে অবস্থানরত বাংলাদেশীদের ঈদ অনুভূতি জানার চেষ্টা করবো।

অতিথি হিসেবে থাকবেন:

১. শফিকুল ইসলাম সবুজ, সহকারী অধ্যাপক, ইংরেজি বিভাগ, বরিশাল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় (টিচিং এসিস্ট্যান্ট এবং ফুলব্রাইট স্কলার, মন্টানা ইউনিভার্সিটি, ইউএসএ)

২. মারুফ ঐতিহ্য, গ্রাজুয়েট রিচার্স এসিস্ট্যান্ট, কানেকটিকাট ইউনিভার্সিটি, ইউএসএ

এই প্রোগ্রামের সঞ্চালনায় থাকবেন: আরজে আফসানা ও আরজে তালহা। কারিগরী সহায়তা থাকবেন: গ্রাফিক্স ডিজাইনার তমা, টেলিকাস্ট অপারেটর তাহেরি।

এই ঈদে বিদেশের বাংলাদেশীদের সাথে যুক্ত হয়ে ঈদের আনন্দ ভাগ করে নিন।

Department of English, University of Barishal organized a seminar today, 31-01-2023, on "Modernism and Postmodernism in Literature". Professor Dr. Syed Manzoorul Islam gave his talk as the chief guest and speaker of the session. Professor Dr. Mohammad Badruzzaman Bhuiyan, Treasurer, Barishal University and Professor Dr. Md. Muhasin Uddin, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Humanities attended the seminar as the Special Guests. The session was chaired by the Vice-chancellor of Barishal University, Professor Dr. Md. Sadequl Arefin. Mr. Yasif Ahmad Faysal, Chair, Department of English anchored the session. Faculty members of the department and students from all batches enthusiastically attended in the seminar.

In his speech, Professor Syed Manzoorul Islam discussed about the emergence of modernism and postmodernism, the distinctions between the two literary theories and drew references to different literary and cultural references to exemplify and explain concepts relating to modernism and postmodernism.

Department of English, University of Barishal is going to welcome the newly admitted students of 11th batch, undergraduate session 2021-22 tomorrow. The program will start at 11 am on February 1, 2023, in roon: 2204, Academic Building-2.
