There are three things I absolutely despise:

First — cheating.

Second — playing with someone’s emotions.

Third — any reaction that causes even the slightest hurt to another person.

These are the things I can never tolerate, because to me, trust, emotions, and the feelings of others are never things to be taken lightly.

জীবনের এমন একটা পর্যায় এসে অনুভব হচ্ছে বাকি জীবনটাও লেখা পড়াতেই কাটবে হয়তো,

আর পড়াপড়ি, লেখালেখি বেশ ভালোও লাগে তাইতো সারাদিন, লেখালেখি, পড়াপড়ি!

কেউ কেউ তা ব্যক্তিগত রুচি নিয়েও প্রশ্ন তুলতে পারে, আবার কারো কারো ভাবনায়,না ভালোই তো লাগে,

আর এমন হরেক রকমের প্রতিক্রিয়ায়, বেশ করেই কেটে যাচ্ছে, জীবনের মুহূর্তগুলো।

এভাবেই একদিন ফুরিয়ে যাবে আইয়ুস কালের শেষ সেকেন্ডটিও।

ঠিক এক বছর আগে গায়ক-অভিনেতা তাহসান বলেছিলেন, আর কনসার্ট করবেন না। সোশ্যাল মিডিয়াতেও আর থাকবেন না।

যেই কথা, সেই কাজ!

গত এক বছরে দু-একটি টিভি শো আর কয়েকটি ফটোশুট ছাড়া অনেকটাই আড়ালে ছিলেন তিনি। আলো-ঝলমলে বিনোদন জগতের পরিচিত মুখ হয়েও নিজেকে যেন ইচ্ছা করেই সরিয়ে নিয়েছেন দৃশ্যপট থেকে।

তখন তাহসান বলেছিলেন:
“আমি চাই মানুষ আমাকে আস্তে আস্তে ভুলে যাক।”

কথাটা শুনতে যতটা অদ্ভুত, সিদ্ধান্তটা তার চেয়েও বেশি বিস্ময়কর।

কারণ যেখানে জনপ্রিয় মানুষগুলো প্রতিদিন আরও বেশি দৃশ্যমান হতে চান, সেখানে তাহসান যেন বেছে নিয়েছিলেন ঠিক উল্টো পথটা।

সোশ্যাল মিডিয়াকে তিনি বলেছিলেন অসম্ভব টক্সিক। ভালো কিছুর চেয়ে নেতিবাচকতা ও খারাপ খবরের প্রচার বেশি হওয়ায় দীর্ঘদিন ধরেই সেখানে বিরক্তি তৈরি হচ্ছিল তার।

এরপর প্রায় ১ কোটি ফলোয়ারের ফেসবুক পেজ এবং প্রায় ৩৫ লাখ ফলোয়ারের ইনস্টাগ্রাম অ্যাকাউন্ট ডিঅ্যাকটিভ করে দেন তিনি।

এক বছর পেরিয়ে গেছে।
এখনো ফেরেননি সেই দুই প্ল্যাটফর্মে।

সবচেয়ে interesting বিষয়টা কী জানেন?

জনপ্রিয়তার যে জায়গায় পৌঁছাতে মানুষ বছরের পর বছর ছুটে বেড়ায়, সেই জায়গায় পৌঁছেও তাহসান নিজেই একদিন বললেন, “আমি চাই মানুষ আমাকে ভুলে যাক।”

হয়তো কখনো কখনো আলো থেকে দূরে সরে যাওয়াটাও নিজের সঙ্গে ফিরে দেখা।
হয়তো সবসময় মানুষের চোখে থাকা নয়, নিজের শান্তিটাও গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।

আর তাই এক বছর পরও তাহসানের এই সিদ্ধান্তটা একটা প্রশ্ন রেখে যায়…

জনপ্রিয়তা ধরে রাখাই কি সাফল্য, নাকি প্রয়োজনের সময় নিজেকে সরিয়ে নেওয়ার সাহসটাও এক ধরনের সাফল্য?
