➤ প্রতিটির সঠিক American উচ্চারণ (IPA),
➤ সেই উচ্চারণের বাংলা ধ্বন্যাত্মক রূপ,
➤ সাথে অর্থ ও একটি উদাহরণ বাক্য।

1. Alleviate

IPA (American): /əˈliː.viˌeɪt/

বাংলা উচ্চারণ: অ্যালি-ভি-এইট

অর্থঃ উপশম করা / লাঘব করা

উদাহরণঃ Medicines are used to alleviate pain.

2. Detrimental

IPA: /ˌdɛ.trəˈmɛn.təl/

বাংলা উচ্চারণ: ডেট্রি-মেন্-ট‍্যাল

অর্থঃ ক্ষতিকর

উদাহরণঃ Too much sugar can be detrimental to your health.

3. Abundant

IPA: /əˈbʌn.dənt/

বাংলা উচ্চারণ: আ-বান্-ড‍্যান্ট

অর্থঃ প্রচুর

উদাহরণঃ The forest is abundant in wildlife.

4. Plausible

IPA: /ˈplɔː.zə.bəl/

বাংলা উচ্চারণ: প্ল‍loj়-জি-ব‍্য‍্যাল

অর্থঃ বিশ্বাসযোগ্য

উদাহরণঃ Her explanation sounded quite plausible.

5. Fluctuate

IPA: /ˈflʌk.tʃuˌeɪt/

বাংলা উচ্চারণ: ফ্লাক-চু-এট

অর্থঃ ওঠানামা করা

উদাহরণঃ Prices of vegetables often fluctuate throughout the year.

1. The IELTS General Training test is
suitable for those wishing to
migrate to a country where English is spoken (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK), and for those wishing to train or study at below degree level.

IELTS Life Skills is a UK government-approved Secure
English Language Test (SELT) that
assesses only your English speaking and listening skills. This is the test to take if you are applying for the following types of UK visa:

■ Indefinite leave to remain or citizenship.
