জবির রাষ্ট্রবিজ্ঞান বিভাগের ১৬ ব্যাচের (২০২০-২১ শিক্ষাবর্ষের) শিক্ষার্থী মোসাঃ তাসমিয়া আক্তার নুরী এই দীর্ঘ ৪ বছরের অনার্স লাইফে একটা সিঙ্গেল দিন, একটা সিঙ্গেল ক্লাস মিস না করে তার স্নাতক ডিগ্রী অর্জন করেছে। এজন্য তাকে ডিপার্টমেন্ট থেকে সম্মাননা স্মারক ও প্রদান করা হয়। উল্লেখ্য ক্লাসে তার মেরিট পজিশন চতুর্থ।

এছাড়াও তার কিন্ডারগার্টেন এর ৫ বছর এবং হাইস্কুলের ৫ বছরে কোনো দিন অনুপস্থিত থাকার রেকর্ড নেই। অর্থাৎ তার ১৪ বছরের শিক্ষা জীবনে কোনো অনুপস্থিতি নেই (বি দ্র: কলেজে হাতেগোনা ৫ দিন অনুপস্থিত ছিল)।

Today, Batch - 06, department of civil engineering arranged an industrial tour to an Anchor Cement Factory. It was a great opportunity for us to see how cement is produced in a real industrial environment. When we arrived, the factory engineers welcomed us and explained the production process.
First, we observed how raw materials like limestone and clay are collected and crushed. Then these materials are mixed and heated in a large rotary kiln to produce clinker. After that, the clinker is ground with gypsum to make cement. We also saw the modern machines and quality control laboratories used in the factory.
The visit helped us understand the practical side of our academic knowledge. It was an informative and memorable experience for all of us.
