Assignment Asia: Bangladesh's digital missionaries 25/08/2016

UPDATE:

Classes has been going on for the last few months because of a few logistical and technological changes. Specially, our Raspberry Pi's malfunctioning which is why we are temporarily going to be using low power consuming notebooks. We also refueled one of our Solar Panel batteries.

But besides there, we have so far had 3 visits in the last 3 months. Our volunteer Jalil went once and Mohammed Abudul Jabber(father of our founder) went there twice. The visits were mainly to make progress in designing and planning our new lab facilities for the Mro kids. At the same, we have seen Rum Klam, our manager report progress of the kids learning. Although Rum Klam fell ill due to jaundice in the middle and was unavailable for a long time, he still made good progress.

Thanks to the funds raised via this http://goo.gl/nuqXzu. We have so far been able to make good use of the fund with buying new resources like Raspberry Pi's, monitors, Solar Panels and Batteries, other electronics part and also cost of travel and stay for volunteers. We will make official update in the projekt.co post.

We have also decided to make Rum Klam visit Dhaka after Eid for a week and get trained here and send him back to teach the kids.

Also, if you haven't seen this report done the Central Chinese TV
http://goo.gl/3kAz9l. Please do have a look.

Plus, there's more build up with another organization working with Mro people too from Thanchi. We might partner with them to leave a even bigger impact.
