Bangladesh Institute of Modern Marketing - BIMM

Farzana Lalarukh, an academician and finance professional has been appointed as the new commissioner of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) for a four year period.

She has been an Associate Professor of the University of Dhaka and also served as an independent director of DBH Finance PLC.

She has also been serving as the chairperson of Innovative Development Practitioners and Thinkers Ltd since February 2024.

According to an internal order by the central bank on Wednesday, Muhammad Badiuzzaman Dider has been appointed as the administrator of NAGAD for a one-year term.
Before that, he served as a director of Bangladesh Bank's Chattogram office.

Mr. Ahsan H Mansur, a renowned economist of Bangladesh has been on board as the 13th Governor of Bangladesh Bank.
He brings with him over 48 years of academic and industry experience. He was the director of the Policy Research Institute of Bangladesh. He was also the chairman of Brac Bank. In Addition, he was an independent director of Walton.
