Office Of External Affairs, Canadian University of Bangladesh has delivered a successful seminar on "Infrastructure Development & Technical Insight"
Mr. Patrick Tangney, Virtual Dean of School of Science & Engineering, Canadian University of Bangladesh expressed his gratitude for arranging such event while Honourable Vice Chancellor Prof. H M Jahirul Haque chaired the program. Honorable Dean of School of Science & Engineering, Prof Syed Akhter Hossain expressed the vote of thanks.
The Whole Session was moderated by Respected Director of the Office of External Affairs, Ms Anusha Chowdhury.

Office Of External Affairs, Canadian University of Bangladesh has organized an International Seminar on "Infrastructure Development & Technical Insight" on 17th September, Saturday at 2.30 pm at CUB Auditorium. Mr. Patrick Tangney, Virtual Dean of School of Science & Engineering, Canadian University of Bangladesh will conduct the Seminar. Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. H M Jahirul Haque will chair the program.

Congratulations to our student Tasnova Tabassum Parisa,Deparment of English Canadian University of Bangladesh for being the winner of Miss & Mrs Plus Bangladesh. Veteran actress Dilara Zaman put the crown on the winners head at the grand finale ceremony on 10th September 2022.Expatriate Welfare and Foreign Employment Ministry Minister Imran Ahmed MP was the chief guest in the event organized by Real Heroes Expo and Communications.
CUB is proud to be a part of Parisa’s excellent journey. We wish her the very best in her new achievement . Hope she will continue to achieve such inspiring recognition both for Bangladesh and the world.

University of Evora, Portugal and Canadian University of Bangladesh’s Department of CSE has signed an agreement for bilateral research collaboration in the area of Internet of Things (IoT), Green Computing and Energy Forecasting including machine learning and data science. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed on Wednesday 25 May, 2022.
This collaboration being the first of its kind, both parties will collaborate to develop joint research fields, postgraduate study programs, exchange of professors and researchers, organization of courses and seminars and so on.

Professor Dr. William Pau Simmons, the great academic & research scholar from University of Arizona paid a visit to Canadian University of Bangladesh with his fellow research associates dated on July 17, 2022.
Professor Simmons, Ph.D., is a Professor of Gender & Women's Studies and Director of the online Human Rights Practice graduate program at the University of Arizona. His research is highly interdisciplinary; using theoretical, legal, and empirical approaches to advance human rights for marginalized populations around the globe. His books include Joyful Human Rights (University of Pennsylvania Press, 2019), Human Rights Law and the Marginalized Other (Cambridge UP, 2011), An-archy and Justice: An Introduction to Emmanuel Levinas’ Political Thought (Lexington, 2003). His articles have appeared in such journals as; Perspectives on Politics, DuBois Review, Journal of Human Rights, International Journal of Feminist Politics, International Migration Review, Violence Against Women, Yale Human Rights & Development Law Journal, The Journal of International Human Rights, Social Science Quarterly, and Philosophy and Social Criticism. He has served as a consultant on human rights and social justice issues in The Gambia, Niger, Nigeria, Bangladesh, China, Mexico, and the United States.
