Top AI Conference Acceptances by EWU CSE Alumni ⭐

We are very proud to share some remarkable achievements from the EWU CSE Alumnis.

Three of our alumni, currently pursuing their PhD studies in the USA, have recently achieved research success at some of the world’s leading AI conferences, ICML 2026, CVPR 2026, and ACL 2026.

All three conferences are ranked A* (Excellent) under the CORE ranking, placing them among the top ~7% of conferences worldwide.

Their research contributions span areas including Multi-Modal Continual Learning, Computer Vision and Zero-Watermarking, and Language Models with NLP reasoning.

কম্পিউটার বিজ্ঞান ও প্রকৌশল শিক্ষার মান উন্নয়নে চার উচ্চশিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানকে দেয়া হচ্ছে ১১শ কোটি টাকা। এর মধ্যে তিনটি পাবলিক ও একটি বেসরকারি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়। বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়গেুলো হলো ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় (ঢাবি), বাংলাদেশ প্রকৌশল বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় (বুয়েট), যশোর বিজ্ঞান ও প্রযুক্তি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় (যবিপ্রবি) ও ইস্ট ওয়েস্ট ইউনিভার্সিটি।

দক্ষ কম্পিউটার গ্র্যাজুয়েট ও গবেষক গড়ার লক্ষ্যে ‘ইমপ্রুভিং কম্পিউটার অ্যান্ড সফটওয়্যার ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং টারশিয়ারি এডুকেশন প্রজেক্ট’ শীর্ষক একটি প্রকল্প নিচ্ছে সরকার। ১ হাজার ৯৪ কোটি টাকার এই বিশাল প্রকল্পটি বাস্তবায়নের মেয়াদ ধরা হয়েছে ২০২০-২৫ সাল পর্যন্ত। এতে অর্থায়ন করবে শিক্ষা মন্ত্রণালয়। আর ঋণসহায়তা দেবে এশীয় উন্নয়ন ব্যাংক (এডিবি)। চার বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ব্যবস্থাপনায় প্রকল্পটির বাস্তবায়ন সমন্বয় করার দায়িত্ব পালন করবে বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় মঞ্জুরী কমিশন।

Masiath Mubassira received prestigious Prime Minister Gold Medal 2018 from our Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
She is currently working as Lecturer in Department of Computer Science and Engineering, East West University.

Masiath Mubassira, currently working as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, East West University, who was also the student of CSE Department, Spring'15 batch, is going to receive the prestigious Prime Minister Gold Medal Tomorrow from the Hounourable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for achieving a Perfect 4.0 GPA in her academic journey.
