Today was my first Park Run in over 18 months 👟
Did I run the whole thing? No.
I had to run and walk.
Did I feel out of condition? Absolutely.
But I showed up, kept going and finished it 💪
And that is exactly what I want women over 50 to remember:
Fitness is not about perfection.
It is about consistency, confidence and refusing to give up on yourself.
Every walk counts.
Every slow jog counts.
Every step forward matters.

• Your body slows things down to cope

This is exactly what I see with so many women over 50.
It’s not about eating less… it’s about eating better and enough to support your body, your workouts, and your lifestyle.
Strong, energised, and confident doesn’t come from restriction.
It comes from consistency, balance, and fuelling your body properly.

Next time you think about skipping a meal… don’t. Build a proper, balanced plate instead.
Fat loss after 50 isn’t about extremes.
It’s about standards.

✔️ I don’t eat foods that take me further away from the body I want
✔️ I prioritise protein to support muscle and metabolism
✔️ I lift weights to stay strong and toned
✔️ I stay consistent, even when I don’t feel like it
✔️ I keep my body moving daily
This is what creates results that actually last.
