Our talented Barbadian competitor Reese-Ann Alleyne is turning up the heat in cooking at SKILLSUSA 2026 in Atlanta, Georgia, which is taking place June 1–5, 2026!
Guided by coach Chef Angela Garraway-Holland, Reese-Ann will showcase her precision, passion, and true Caribbean flair with every dish.

The members of WorldSkills Barbados Training Squad 2026 will be taking part in a series of overseas events as part of their preparation and selection for the Barbados team to WorldSkills Shanghai 2026, which takes place in China in September.
This summer, give your child the skills they need to build the future.
WorldSkills Barbados Juniors Future Skills Camp 2026 is designed to develop and engage young minds through hands-on training in the skills shaping tomorrow’s careers.
From Aerial Robotics, Optoelectronic Technology and 3D Digital Printing to Game Development, Game Art, Mobile App Development and Cyber Security, young innovators will get early exposure to high-skilled career pathways through sessions delivered in collaboration with partners including INFOTEP from the Dominican Republic, VCOMM Creative Digital Industries with ACER UK, and Robot Adventures.
Participants will also receive formal recognition for their achievements through a certificate and digital badge, giving them tangible proof of the skills they develop.
Registration is now open. Camp runs from July 6 to August 21, 2026.
Early bird rate: BBD $150 per skill area until May 31.
After May 31: BBD $200 per skill area.
