BIOGRAPHY - MARIAH GREENIDGE

Joining the dance place at the age of three, this young dance enthusiast began to plea her way into a great dancing career, receiving distinctions and high merits in her ballet exams. She realised ballet wasn't enough for her and it was then where she started jazz and modern and by the age of 12 she was also taking on latin and ballroom classes at the Livy and Betty Dance Centre.

Pushing her dance career even further Mariah attended latin and ballroom competitions in Blackpool England where she and her dance partner often were finalists, This year she is looking forward to attending a world champion competition held in France.

It isn’t always fun and games for this young dancer however, many times dancing had to be placed on hold for her to focus on education at Harrison College where she completed nine CXCs.

It was during this break when this young fashionista decided that she wanted to take the spotlight again but this time on the runway. She participated in her school's runway competition where she place first runner up and decided that it wasn't going to stop there. Soon after she competed in her School's pageant where she placed 4th.

Living by the life philosophy that all things are possible through Christ she continues to strive to be the best , to win a crown and be on top in any and everything she sets out to do.

King and Queen of Harrison College crowned Joshua Johnson and Chantal Corbin took top honours as they were crowned King and Queen of Harrison College on Saturday.
