Come out for one last Easter-hoorah! An afternoon of fun, music, food and family-friendly vibes. Jumping tents, face painting, sensory play bins and playground fun - a time for the kids to get together before heading back to school! Tickets available at Wee Pals any time during this week. All proceeds to go towards materials for our new primary 2 class and an upgrade to our WeeCARE learning support program! Thanks as usual for your continued support!

All proceeds will be distributed between Primary 2 (our 6-9 class) Montessori learning materials and outfitting our WeeCARE learning support room.
We are thrilled to finally have a dedicated space outside of the main classrooms for learners who may need to work on specific skills in a quiet space, or who may need a break from the main class. Duplicate Montessori materials, visual aids and various learning supports are some of what is on our list.

Wee pals Montessori sports day 2026 done and dusted. A day filled with smiles, races and family fun! Thanks to all my wonderful aunties and the parents who all came out to support their littles!! Until next year!
Yesterday's morning work period. From using the stamp game materials for multiplication, addition and subtraction, to grammar work with the parts of speech cards, and alphabetizing using a rainbow arc of the moveable alphabet, our mornings are dynamic and full of learning.
Students have settled into a lovely rhythm and so many skills are embedded in daily learning - dictionary skills, meal prep, collaborating with peers, turn taking, and managing their time to complete assigned work on their task lists.
Playtime, work time, picnic time - at MMSB we make the most of our beautiful outside spaces…. The children love making up games, finding hidden treasures on the playground and having picnics under the trees.. we’ve even taken our math work outside (here, the children are learning multiplication using the Montessori stamp game) and this week the kids wanted to have their spelling quiz and dictation out under the mango tree! Outside time is the best time! Enjoy lots of outside time with your family this weekend! Happy Friday everyone!
Moments like this live with us for a lifetime. A massive thank you to the team from the Worthing Fire Station - Officers Holly, Skeete, Gittens and Price - who visited Wee Pals and Maria Montessori School Barbados and gave a wonderful presentation to the kids! They were so engaging with the children, allowing them to come aboard the truck, hold the fire hose and listen to the siren! We even had “stop drop and roll” demonstration! Can’t wait for you all to visit us again! The kids will never forget this experience! You are true heroes! ♥️♥️
On Friday Mornings Tía Dana from spends the morning with Primary 1 for Spanish immersion. This looks like small group games, learning songs, conversations and using the same Montessori materials the children are engaged in during their work period and speaking in Spanish about said activities.
