In just about an hour we will hear this distinguished panelist speak on the role/importance of bible schools in this present day. Bishop Edison Bynoe will be part of our panel at our Inaugural Richard Browne Memorial Lecture and Panel Discussion.

Here is his bio:

Bishop Edison Bynoe holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Global University, and a Master of Arts degree from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, Springfield, Missouri. He is the Assistant Bishop for the Pentecostal Assemblies of the West Indies, Barbados District, as well as the outgoing principal and a lecturer, at the West Indies School of Theology, Barbados campus. Additionally, he is the CEO of Harvest Empowerment International, a nonprofit organisation with the goal of transforming the nation one community at a time.

He has taught leadership at BIMAP where he currently teaches Fundamentals of Management. He has also taught in a variety of training forums.

An avid writer, he has self-published more than ten books. He is the husband of one wife, Phyllis for the past 25 years and the father of two daughters.

We are honoured to have Dr. Paul Watson as part of our Distinguished Panel as we celebrate our 25th Anniversary event - the first ever Richard Browne Memorial Lecture and Panel Discussion.

Here's the bio on Rev. Dr. Paul Watson:

Dr. Paul Watson served as the Senior Pastor at Messiah Wesleyan Holiness Worship Centre, more familiarly called Messiah’s House, in St John Barbados, for 26 years. He also served at the Deeper Life Assembly in Orlando, USA as the Administrative Pastor. He has been in ministry for about 49 years. He has held several leadership positions in the Wesleyan Holiness denomination serving as the General Secretary for Evangelism and Missions in the Caribbean Conference for four (4) years and was the Assistant Superintendent of the Guyana and the Barbados Districts of the Wesleyan Holiness Church for a total of nine (9) years.
Dr. Paul is a sought after speaker and has ministered in Conferences, Training Seminars, Graduations, Retreats and Crusades across Barbados, the Caribbean, Brazil, Belize, Guyana, and the United States.
He has been involved for most of his ministry in teaching Bible Schools in Guyana and Barbados in the development of persons for the Ministry. He also taught for seven (7) years at a private Secondary School in Barbados and briefly at the Barbados Community College.
He has worked with several organisations which sought and continues to seek for pastoral co-operation, unity and the well-being of the Church and nation. These included Operation Intercession in Barbados where he served as Assistant National Director and Co-ordinator for the Churches in St John and St. Philip, in Pastors Prayer Fellowship Network (PPFN) as the Vice-President and in several other groups which held National Rallies, National Crusades, National Marches, and National Days of Prayer.
Dr. Watson has been a prolific author and has recently released his 11th book, “Live Like Jesus –Making Converts into Mature Disciples.”(Published in the USA in 2019)
He is a graduate of Atlantic Caribbean Bible Institute (ACBI) with a Three Year Certificate in Theology, a graduate of the University of the West Indies (UWI Cave Hill) with a BA (Hons.) with emphasis on History and Sociology), a graduate from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, with a Masters in Theology: Christian Ethics and Practical Theology (emphasis on Theology and Development Studies), a Masters in Ministry and a Doctorate in Ministry from Christian Bible College and Seminary (CBCS) in the USA.

As we get ready for the Inaugural Richard Browne Memorial Lecture tonight on zoom at 7pm, here is a spotlight and bio on our distinguished panelist and CMBS Overseer, Rev. Dr. Sylvia McDaniels.

Dr. Sylvia McDaniels is an ordained minister, missionary, evangelist, teacher, organiser and Kingsway Fellowship International (KFI) Kings Leading Ladies Conference Coordinator for Kansas and Missouri. As a missionary, Dr. McDaniels has ministered in over 20 countries.
She works with many ministries, bible colleges and conferences in the USA and worldwide from youth to elderly to strengthen, teach and encourage them with the Love of God and Word of God in Missions, Prayer, Leadership, Stewardship and many other Biblical Principles.

Dr. McDaniels is president of Light to the Nations and Overseer of Caribbean Mission Bible School (CMBS) in both Trinidad and Barbados. She is an Executive Board of Director for Kingsway Fellowship International and an End-Time Maiden of the Lord. Dr. McDaniels has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administrations and Information Systems, Bachelors and Masters in Theology, and Her Doctorate in Pastoral Theology.

Her testimony is “Seek First the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you”. She is committed to being His handmaiden, serving the most High God. “Jesus is LORD and Saviour of my life. I will bless the LORD at all times, His praises shall continually be in my mouth.”

Our Inaugural Richard Browne Memorial Lecture takes place tonight at 7:00pm. Here is the bio of our featured speaker, Bishop Marlon O'N Husbands:

Dr. Marlon O’N. Husbands is the Chief Minister and Founder of Sanctuary Empowerment Centre, St. Michael, Barbados. He is also the President and Founder of Sanctuary Ministries International Inc.
Graduating from Master’s International University of Divinity, Indiana, U.S.A . with a Doctor of Divinity degree, Dr. Husbands also holds a Bachelor of Theology Degree (Hons.) and a Masters degree with a Major in Counselling. He has served as a Part-Time Lecturer in the department of General and Continuing Education at the Barbados Community College.
A professional Counsellor with over three decades of experience, Dr. Husbands has served as a Counsellor within the Magistrate Courts system of Barbados.
He is a cutting-edge leadership practitioner and describes himself as a visionary with a passion for empowering leaders and persons in general and watching them grow to their true potential. Husbands continues to be a leading voice of faith, innovation, inspiration, and influence within the Barbadian landscape and is already making global impact for the development of mankind.
Dr Husbands is the author of 3 books: “Dare to Believe, The Supernatural Is In You”, “Leading with Confidence” and his most recent publication – “12 Keys To A Strong Finish”.
Husbands has been married to Dr. Suzette P. E. Husbands since 1990 and together they have four sons.

Tomorrow, November 14th, 2021, marks the 25th anniversary of the launch of the CMBS - the Caribbean Mission Bible School here in Barbados. During this year, 2021, we will be celebrating the work of the CMBS and honouring the ones who've paved the way and continue to blaze the trail for us to follow. You will also hear from our students, staff and leadership (past and present) about the impact of the bible school to the region and beyond. God is truly a faithful God and we will continue to spread the mission of the gospel of JESUS CHRIST. Look out for more content as the celebrations unfold!
