On Saturday, thirteen of our DP1 students began their three-week Spanish Exchange in the historic city of Ávila, Spain. During their stay, the students will be fully immersed in Spanish language and culture, attending classes, living with host families, and experiencing daily life in a new environment. We wish them all the best for a rewarding and memorable experience and look forward to updates of their travel & adventures.

Our after school horse riding enrichment on Tuesday afternoons continues to be a wonderful outlet for our PYP & MYP students each week. Students have the opportunity to ride at Sandy Turf Stables in Christ Church, under the guidance of experienced local coach Sandra Sampson. As they learn the fundamentals of horse riding, students develop confidence, balance, coordination, and a sense of responsibility. They also get an opportunity to build a special connection with the horses, gaining an understanding of their behaviour and the trust that forms between horse and rider.

House Team spirit was front & centre at today’s Primary School Swim Gala. While Elliot Sealy took home the championship trophy, the real focus of the day was participation, enjoyment, and simply doing your best. It was wonderful to see students giving their all, celebrating each other’s successes, and showing such great sportsmanship throughout the day. Thanks to everyone who helped make it such a great Codrington day!

On Monday, Ms. Carla’s PYP 1&2 class took their inquiry into Community Workers beyond the classroom with a visit to the Southern Division Fire Station at Grantley Adams Airport. Students learned about fire safety, toured the control room, and discovered the important role firefighters play in keeping the airport safe. A highlight of the visit was the chance to hold the station’s high-powered water hose and hear the fire truck siren in action. It was a fun & memorable experience that brought learning to life for our youngest team of inquirers.
