What a day! St. Winifred’s proudly showed up at this year’s Chefette Fun Run, earning the trophy for the Largest School Turnout! 🏆🎉

A huge congratulations to our top finishers, led by Chase and Jake McCartney, along with Slater Weekes, Scott Galbraith, Asher Collett, and Nathanael Warren. 👏🔥

A special shoutout to Mrs. Gibbs, the Student Council, and every student, parent, and supporter who purchased a shirt, cheered us on, and took part in the event. Together, we sold 400+ shirts and brought incredible school spirit to the course! 💙💛

Form 3 Career Day 2026

Last week, our students had the exciting opportunity to explore a world of career possibilities at Career Day! 🎓💼

From construction and healthcare to business, media, and beyond, students heard firsthand from a variety of professionals about what they do, how they got started, and the paths they took to reach their careers. 🚀

The interactive sessions gave students the chance to ask questions, gain valuable insights, and discover new opportunities they may not have previously considered. 💡

A huge thank you to all of our presenters for sharing their experiences, inspiring our students, and helping them envision their future careers. The possibilities are endless! 🌟

In Barbados it’s tradition for the kids to all run into the water in their school uniforms after the 11+ Common Entrance exam. Today is the day to shine! Wishing our Junior 4 students a calm and focused day as they take their Eleven Plus exam today.

For September 2026

Our SWS Chess team played in a secondary competition last weekend. They were tough challengers with one match running as long as two hours. They placed fourth overall. We commend them on bringing stiff competition to the event, something other coaches remarked on. Well done boys!
