Hello November 💙🇧🇧
November is typically known as our month of Independence, but this one is extra special for us as Barbados becoming a Republic on November 30, 2021!
Did you know: It was on this site on November 30th 1966 that the Barbados flag was first raised, breaking centuries of British rule of the island. Today, the 50th Anniversary of Independence National Monument stands proudly overlooking in the Garrison Historic Area!
Next time you're in the area, look out for this beautiful historic spot.
