GUEST LECTURE: O DRŽAVNOSTI BOSNE I HERCEGOVINE

🇧🇦 Tomorrow we will have our first guest lecture held by academic Mirko Pejanović on the topic of the Statehood of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The lecture will be in Bosnian.

📚 We encourage all of our members to participate, since the lecture will be full of new knowledge.

PEACE as a priority ☑

🏢 Kicking the academic year off with a strong message!

🕊 The Diplomacy Club participated in this project together with Mreža za izgradnju mira / Network for Building Peace where the main goal was the celebration and promotion of messages of peace.

📜 This promotion was done on the 21st of September, which marks the UN Peace day.

🎓 The posters were placed all over our University and were designed by our talented member Ida Savić.

STUDY TRIP: MONTENEGRO 🇲🇪

🎯 The aim of this trip was to introduce our students to the socio-political situation in Montenegro, especially in the context of EU integrations process of the whole region.

🏛️ We visited the following institutions: ReSPA, Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Montenegro, Atlantic Council of Montenegro, Embassy of BiH in Montenegro and the King Nicholas Museum in Cetinje. Additionally, our studenta had the oprotunity to talk to the BiH Ambassador in Montenegro, Branimir Jukić, and the General Secretay of the Parliament in Montegro, Aleksandar Klarić, from whom they gained valuable knowledge.

📌 We visited 3 cities within 3 days: Podgorica, Cetinje and Kotor.

🚌 This was our first study trip this year. Looking forward to more! 🔜

On Thursday, October 31st, Burch Diplomacy Club organized a guest lecture by BG Marti J. Bissell, Commander and Senior Military Representative NHQSA, on the topic “BiH’s current path to NATO and the benefits that Bosnia and Herzegovina might get from membership in the Alliance” for its members, as well as International Burch University students and faculty.

UN Day - Diplomacy Club 24/10/2019

Since 1945, 24th October is considered as UN Day, and each year, Diplomacy Club celebrates it by creating different projects. This year, DC made a video of 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with examples of their implementation. This video presents just how important UN, as an international organisation, is in the todays world, and how it makes our world better.
