Od svog osnivanja EFS se nalazi u prostorijama Osnovne škole “Hasan Kikić” koja je smještena u Gorici. Od 1. As of 1st september EFS is expanding.

Ecole Française de Sarajevo (EFS) je osnovana 1999 godine od strane MISSION LAIQUE FRANCAISE (MLF) francuske institucije poluotvorenog tipa koja upravlja školama u mnogim zemljama u svijetu. EFS je obuhvatao klasični francuski nastavni plan I program za 85 djece uzrasta od 3 do 10 godina. Septembra EFS se proširuje i postaje CIFS, College International Francophone de Sarajevo i seli se na novou lokaciju. U novoj školi učenici će uživati u lijepom i izdvojenom mjestu smještenom u Paromlinskoj ulici na broju 66. Zgrada izgrađena u klasičnom austrougarskom stilu je u potpunosti renovirana i nalazi se na pola hektara šumovite parcele u Novom Sarajevu. Opseg nastavnog programa će se proširiti i uključivat će ono što se zove “Koledž” u klasičnom francuskom obrazovnom sistemu, učenici od 11 do 14 godina. Na Koledžu 40 % nastave će se održavati na francuskom, 30 % na engleskom i 30 % na bosanskom jeziku ( raspodjela će ovisiti o razredu). Posebna pažnja se poklanja klasi “Maternalle” (3,4,5 godina). Suprotno od vrtića, francuski obrazovni sistem gleda na godine “maternalle” kao na prave nastavne razrede. Dva certificirana nastavnika za svaki razred i svake godine se postavljaju jasni nastavni ciljevi. Ove godine su optimalne za dječiji mozak za usvajanje stranog jezika.

Škola je usaglašena sa Francuskim Ministarstvom obrazovanja i izdaje prizante diplome.
Škola je, također, certificirana i od strane Ministarstva obrazovanja Kantona Sarajevo.

The Ecole Française de Sarajevo (EFS) was created in 1999 by the MISSION LAIQUE FRANCAISE (MLF) a semi public french institution operating school in many countries around the world. Since its begining EFS was hosted in HASAN KIKIC school premises located on Goriza. EFS was dispensing a classic french curricular to 85 children from 3 to 10 years old. EFS becomes CIFS, College International Francophone de Sarajevo and moves to a new location. New school's students will be enjoying the beautiful and secluded site located at Paromlinska 66. A classic Austro Hungarian style building, entirely renovated, sitting on a half hectare wooded parcel in Novo Sarajevo. Range of curricular will be expanded to include what is called "College" in the french system, ie student from 11 to 14 years old. In College about 40 % of classes will be taught in French, 30 % in English and 30 % in Bosnian language (repartition depending upon grade). A special effort is dedicated to classes of "Maternelle" (3,4 & 5 years old). At the opposite of a daycare, french educative system considers years of maternelle as real learning classes. They are 2 certified teachers per classes and every year sets clear learning objectives. Those years are also the optimum moment for child's brain to acquire foreign language. The school is homologated by the French Ministry of Education and delivers recognized diplomas. The school is also certified by the Canton Sarajevo Ministry for Education.

Ovaj izlet bio je prilika za druženje, razmjenu i jačanje zajedništva, kako bismo novu školsku godinu započeli u pozitivnoj atmosferi.
