Wonder Learning Project for Digital Natives
Curiosity as a Driver of Learning
Today, the Public Institution Institute for the Development of Pre-University Education of Sarajevo Canton organised a professional development training programme for primary and subject teachers, focusing on the implementation of the Wonder Learning concept and process writing within the subjects Bosnian Language and Literature, Croatian Language and Literature, and Serbian Language and Literature.
Through interactive activities, reflection, and group work, participants explored ways in which curiosity, a sense of wonder, and meaningful learning can be integrated into everyday teaching practice. Particular emphasis was placed on connecting contemporary learning approaches with the Sarajevo Canton curriculum and designing learning activities that foster creativity, critical thinking, and the active engagement of students in the learning process.
The training was delivered within the framework of the Erasmus+ Wonder Learning Project, in which the Institute actively participates with the aim of linking European educational practices with the needs and priorities of the Sarajevo Canton education system.
The professional development programme was facilitated by the Institute’s staff members Hatidža Šaljić, Nermina Usejnovski, and Altijana Alić.

Students Sharing Knowledge Through Wonder Learning!
After returning from the Student Exchange in Aydın, Türkiye, students from OS Aleksa Šantić became peer educators and shared their international learning experience with their classmates.
During a special peer-learning session, the students presented the Wonder Learning Online Platform and demonstrated how to use its innovative tools and resources. They introduced their peers to the five elements of Wonder Learning, encouraging curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and active engagement in learning.
The students also spoke about their experiences during the exchange in Aydın, highlighting the international activities, intercultural learning opportunities, and friendships they developed with participants from different countries.
This activity is a great example of how Erasmus+ projects empower young people not only to learn but also to become ambassadors of knowledge within their own school communities.
Congratulations to all participating students for inspiring their peers and promoting innovative learning approaches through the Wonder Learning project!
