Making Our Mark! 🎨
This week, our Elementary and Middle School students celebrated Dot Day through creativity, experimentation, and collaboration. Inspired by The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds, students explored seven different art techniques and transformed simple dots into unique works of art.
Each individual creation became part of one beautiful collaborative display in our school hallway, a reminder that every mark matters, and every student has something special to contribute.
A big thank you to Ms. Leila for organizing this wonderful project and bringing Dot Day to life!

MAP Testing isn’t just for a score. It’s how we see where each student stands in reading, language usage, and mathematics, and it's one of the many tools that help us understand how students are making progress. MAP is part of the same approach used across QSI schools worldwide. At QSI Sarajevo, that testing data shapes real classroom decisions, providing students with the right level of challenge and the right kind of support. Learning shaped around the learner, not the other way around.

Greek Phalanx Comes to Life!

As part of our current unit on the Hellenistic World, our students had an exciting hands-on learning experience thanks to a parent volunteer, Mr. Tobin H, who visited the class to recreate a Greek phalanx, one of the most famous military formations of the ancient world. Bringing replica "spears" and expert enthusiasm, Mr. H. guided students through the formation, teaching them how soldiers marched, coordinated their movements, and worked together as a disciplined unit. The activity brought history to life, helping students deepen their understanding of ancient Greek warfare while having great fun working as a team. It was a great, engaging experience for everyone involved!

Our MS and Secondary students traded desks for the great outdoors!
Middle School students headed to Javorov Do on Bjelašnica, while Secondary students took on the beautiful hike from Čavljak to Crepoljsko. From hiking and exploring to fun bonding activities, our students had the chance to connect, challenge themselves, and create memories together. 🐺
