Bosanski vokabular - Bosnian-English vocabulary

is a project to create a Bosnian-English vocabulary for students of the Bosnian language.

The Bosnian language has not been featured in lots of teaching materials up to now. Thus, it has been complicated and sometimes frustrating for students of the Bosnian language when after learning a new word, they have been told by locals that this word is rather used in other regions.

This vocabulary is being developed in collaboration with linguists from Sarajevo. It focuses on the dialect spoken in the Bosnian capital, using the Latin alphabet as the predominate alphabet in the Federation of Bosnia and Hercegovina.

Numerous example sentences contextualize the terms and sayings. They use examples of every-day life in Bosnia and Hercegovina.
