Interaktivnost: Sljedeća evolucija glTF-a
✔️ 3D konfiguratore proizvoda
✔️ web 3D prezentacije
✔️ edukacije i obuke
✔️ interaktivne demonstracije proizvoda

Interactivity: The Next Evolution of glTF
glTF has become one of the most important standards for sharing 3D content.
It is open, efficient, and widely supported. It can store geometry, PBR materials, animations, morph targets, and more, making it a great format for delivering high-quality 3D models across different platforms.
But like most 3D file formats, glTF was originally focused mainly on describing how a 3D model looks and moves.
What was missing was interactivity.
Interactivity means adding behavior to a 3D model.
For example:
A user clicks on an object, and its material changes.
A user highlights a part, and an animation starts.
A product configurator allows users to switch colors, parts, or options directly inside the 3D viewer.
This is where the next evolution of glTF begins.
The Khronos Group, which manages the glTF standard, introduced the glTF Interactivity Extension to bring behavior and interaction into glTF files.
This is an important step because it allows 3D models to become more than static assets. They can become interactive experiences that run directly on the web.
In the upcoming SimLab Composer 16, we added a simple no-code workflow for creating interactive glTF models through the Training Builder.
This means users can create basic interactive behaviors without writing code, then export glTF models that are ready to run in any web glTF viewer that supports interactivity.
While the current interactivity options are still limited, they already open the door to many useful applications, including:
Interactive 3D product configurators
Web-based 3D presentations
Basic training experiences
Interactive product demonstrations
Simple guided 3D experiences
We believe this is an important direction for 3D on the web.
As glTF interactivity continues to grow, it will help make 3D content more useful, more engaging, and easier to deploy across platforms.
