Silver at the Italy National Mathematical Olympiad! 🥈

Following successes in physics, we are delighted to share news from sunny Italy. Mykhailo Prysiazhniuk, a TLF scholarship recipient from H-FARM International School, has won a silver medal at the Italy National Mathematical Olympiad 2026 🇮🇹.

This result is the outcome of tremendous hard work and a deep love for the subject. Congratulations to Mykhailo and TLF mathematics teacher Kirill Stupakov on this significant achievement!

TLF Exams: A Milestone Moment ✍️

It’s a busy and intense period for our DP1 scholarship students — they are currently taking their Final Exams.

The TLF academic program includes two major assessment stages:
• Mid-term Exams — intermediate exams that our students successfully completed in February
• Final Exams — the final assessments taking place now.

We evaluate students’ progress in three key subjects: mathematics, physics, and computer science. These exams help teachers see the real outcome of the academic year: what students have learned and how effectively they have mastered a challenging curriculum.

In addition, the exam results may be considered when awarding university scholarships. As a reminder, our list includes 30 of the world’s leading universities, and students admitted to them may receive scholarships from the TLF Foundation.

Leave a ❤️ to support our students! Your good luck wishes mean a lot to them right now.

How was the vision for Technology Leaders of the Future born?

This past April, we sat down with TLF co-founder and philanthropist, Ratmir Timashev. In this short clip, Ratmir shares his personal journey and explains why he is committed to helping talented students make that «leap» to the next level.

“The most important thing in university was meeting talented and creative people who expanded my horizons,” says Ratmir.

This is exactly the kind of community we strive to build today within TLF.

Gold at the Nordic-Baltic Physics Olympiad (NBPhO)! 🥇

While we were fully immersed in wrapping up applications for the new academic year, our scholarship students kept reaching new heights. We “owe” you lots of news, and we’ll be sharing it активно very soon!

Let’s start with the achievement of Vladislav Lipnitsky, a TLF scholar from The Island Private School. This past weekend in Tallinn, Estonia, the Nordic-Baltic Physics Olympiad took place. Vladislav not only won a gold medal but also placed 4th overall among the strongest young physicists from across Europe and many other countries (including China) ✨

Congratulations to Vladislav and TLF physics teacher Ivan Stanich on this outstanding result!

TODAY IS THE FINAL DAY! ⏳

We are wrapping up our countdown with Fact #1: A story of how one person’s vision becomes a future for many.

The TLF program was born from the personal initiative of tech entrepreneur and philanthropist Ratmir Timashev. His mission is simple yet bold: to identify exceptional young talent and provide them with a «social lift» into the world’s elite universities and global tech communities.

👆 In this video, Ratmir describes the core concept of TLF: who we are looking for and why this mission matters.

Want to dive deeper into the TLF philosophy? We have released two exclusive long-form interviews with Ratmir Timashev on our YouTube channel (link in bio).

⏳ Only 5 days left until the application deadline!

Candidates often ask: “Why do the first two stages of the TLF selection process focus specifically on math?”

Ratmir Timashev, IT entrepreneur and donor of the TLF program, explains it this way:
“The entire history of humanity shows that mathematics is the best criterion, the best science for learning how to think.
Learning to find an elegant, beautiful solution to a very complex problem — that is the very definition of mathematics. Physics is very close to this; while not as pure, it is still very similar. Therefore, we believe that students who are already ‘halfway prepared’ for our mission are those who are strong in math and/or physics.”

But is being good at STEM subjects enough to join the program? Watch the reel where Ratmir answers the question: “What is the #1 quality you look for in a TLF candidate?”

Theory in Motion: TLF Scholars at the Personal Project Exhibition 2026 🚀

At TLF, we believe in the profound power of knowledge — both in its deep understanding and its transformative application. Recently at H-FARM International School, our scholars demonstrated exactly that during the MYP Personal Project Exhibition.

This isn’t just a school assignment; it’s a 6-month journey where students take full ownership of a complex process — from initial research to a functioning prototype.

Where strategy meets opportunity ♟️

Last week, our TLF scholars stepped into the world stage of chess. Munar, Ersayin, Alexey, and Taron from The Island Private School attended the opening of the FIDE Candidates Tournament in Cyprus — one of the most prestigious events in global chess.

But here’s what matters: they earned it by winning a school tournament.

In just one day:
• watched legends play — Hikaru Nakamura, Andrey Esipenko, Fabiano Caruana and others
• learned from former World Champion Viswanathan Anand
• and brought that energy back to their own games

Special thanks to Dmitriy Mikhailov, founder of DMTECH.VC, for making this experience possible.

Access to world-class expertise is a cornerstone of the TLF experience 📐

We were honored to host Vladimir Sharich — a renowned figure in competitive mathematics and an IMO jury member — for a series of guest lectures at H-FARM International School.

From the architecture of connections in Graph Theory to the search for order in Ramsey Theory, our scholars dove deep into topics that bridge school education and high-level science. 🧠

Swipe left to see highlights and hear why our scholars, like Mira Serzhanova, are feeling more inspired than ever to make their own scientific discoveries. ➡️
