BA Programs ASOIU This is the official page of Business Administration Programs within Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University.

The Bachelor Program of Business Nеw Тechnologies (ZU Program) was founded on 2001 in accordance with the joint program on "Collaboration program to develop the Bachelor of Emerging Technologies" between Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (former Azerbaijan State Oil Academy)

and Siegen University (Germany). The Program offers the graduate degree of bachelor majors in:

-Business Informatics
-Industrial Engineering
-Marketing
-Mechatronics
-Computer Engineering

The BBA Program is designed to provide a broad general education on the core business knowledge as well as the skills to prepare students for entry-level positions in private, public and non-profit organizations. And also stimulate the Program aims to students a desire for lifelong learning. The faculty uses the most effective educational methods and latest technology to meet these requirements. The BBA Program is a four-year program (8 semesters). It is necessary to gather minimum 240 credits within 4 years. The admission of students under the BBA program is realized according to the existing rule of the Azerbaijan Republic. The students enter the Program after completion of high school. For the training of bachelors’ education fee must be paid. The following is a list of specialty:

-Business Economics
-Computer Information Systems
-Managerial Science
-Systems Engineering


The “Master of Business Administration (MBA)” Program at the ASOIU was founded in 1998 in accordance with the joint project “Partnership to Develop the Master of Business Administration Program and Faculty capabilities” at the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy (now Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University) in partnership with the Georgia State University/Robinson Business School of the USA. The Programs between the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy and the Georgia State University (GSU) were funded by two grants from the US State Department. The Masters Programs offered by the BA Programs are:

- MBA Operations Management
- MBA Computer Information Systems (CIS)
- MS Organization Management
- MS Human Recourses Management
- MS Marketing
- MS E-governance
- MS Econometrics
- MS Business Informatics
- MS Artificial Intelligence

🔹On May 20, the Director of BA Programs and successor to Lotfi Zadeh’s scientific legacy, Professor Rafik Aliev, together with the esteemed Jeyhun Salmanov, met with young people currently studying at prestigious foreign universities, as well as those who have gained admission for the upcoming academic year.

During the meeting, engaging discussions took place on topics such as modern education, scientific and technological development, data, and artificial intelligence. The students received valuable advice from Professor Rafik Aliev regarding their education and scientific advancement abroad.
