National Aviation Academy

National Aviation Academy National Aviation Academy is next to Biny Selo and is located in Baki, Azerbaijan. National Aviation Academy has a length of 1.16 kilometres.

The Academy was established in August 1992 on the base of Aviation Training Centre. According to State Committee decree the Academy was given a category of Higer Educational Institution. It wa included in to ICAO reference book of Educational Institutions/
Since 1992 the Academy has taken the path of a new stage of progress. Many new faculties besides Flying Exploitation of Air Traffic have been o

pened such as Automatic Control System, Logistics, Economy and Law, Radio Devices and Radio Equipment. There are 2 kinds of tuition: full-time and correspondence. More than 2000 sutendts at the Academy. The territory of the Academy has been extended.There are 5 studying buildings, labs. rooms which meet all modern requirements. For pilot, navigators and controllers there is a simulator for training and practising. A new sport complex has been build recently. There are various trainers and a swimming pool there. Students have their physical training lessons in it. There is a hostel for students who live in other towns. Living there is free. After classes or during breakes students can have a snack in the canteer. Food isn't expensive. For getting information student can go to the libraries(Electronic and ordinary ones)
The Academy provides a high level of education. During the year students attend lectures and seminars. At the en of each turn the take exams and tests. The study many subjects and English is one of them. So as you can see the Academy offers all conditions for training goog specialists for aviation.

In 1996 the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed that 7 December was to be the International Civil Aviation Day.

The day had been celebrated by the International Civil Aviation Organization since 7 December 1994, the 50th anniversary of the signing the Convention on International Civil Aviation.

Following the adoption of the resolution, the delegate from the United Kingdom stated the view that the decision for holding of an International Civil Aviation Day did not fall within these guidelines, and that the scarce resources of the United Nations should not be used to support interpretation, printing and other associated costs that will be incurred as a result.
