SABIS Sun International School invited G9–G12 students from international schools in Baku to take part in the MUN (Model United Nations) event on June 3 and 4, 2023.
Model United Nations, also known as Model UN or MUN, is an educational simulation in which students learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. At the MUN conference, students work as representatives of a country, organization, or person and must resolve a relevant issue or problem with other delegates from around the world. MUN teaches participants skills like research, public speaking, debating, writing, critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership.
Well done to all organizers: Ellada Yaqubova, Ayshe Betul Ilyas, Naz Babazade, Aylin Mirzayeva, and all SABIS SUN students who took an active part in the conference.

SABIS Sun hosted an “International School Football Competition” with 21 different teams in 4 age categories from 7 schools in Baku participating. Excellent football was on displayed and all students gave it their all in every game.

Students at SSIS celebrated our annual 'International Day' and were reminded that cultural differences don't separate us from each other, but rather cultural diversity brings a collective strength that can benefit all of humanity.

At our school, we believe that the criteria for acceptance into schools are the student’s willingness to give their full potential, rather than their innate abilities, which is why we offer accelerated programs for students who need support to get into certain grades, such as summer school, special lessons, and full-special classes.

SSIS is proud to be part of the very first medical and aromatic herbal plant gardening in Azerbaijan, situated in the Dreamland area. Our KG and Grade 1 students support "green living" by planting lavender seedlings.
