As part of the MyADA Freshman Adjustment Program, the School of IT and Engineering (SITE) held a Town Hall Meeting that brought together faculty, staff, and first-year students for an informative and engaging session.
The event opened with welcoming remarks from Mr. Elchin Rizayev, Director of the Office of Student Success, highlighting the importance of support and collaboration.
Then Ms. Turkan Huseynova presented key information about the school, Code of Conduct, and Honor Code rules, giving students a clear understanding of expectations.
The IT Program Director, Dr. Jamaladdin Hasanov, followed with an inspiring speech that motivated students to approach their studies with curiosity and confidence.
In the second part, Dean Dr. Abzatdin Adamov held an open Q&A session, addressing freshmen’s questions and offering guidance on both academic and student life.
A meaningful and supportive meeting that helped our freshmen continue their journey at SITE with clarity and confidence.

📢 4-Week Group Therapy Program — Only on Mondays✨
As we move closer to the end of the semester and upcoming exams, it’s completely normal to feel stressed, overwhelmed, or emotionally tired. To support you during this period, we are launching a 4-week Group Therapy Program designed especially for students. These sessions will be led by our Mental Health Counselor Ms. Kamala Aghayeva, who will guide you through practical strategies to manage stress, stay grounded, and prepare your mind for the exam period.
🌿 Sessions take place only on Mondays, with two flexible time slots each week.
🌿 Flexible attendance — join any session you want; you don’t need to attend all
🌿 Seats are limited — only 10 students will be accepted

✨ Empathy in Action: Listen Beyond the Words ✨
As part of the MyADA Freshman Adjustment Course, we had a truly interactive and thought-provoking session led by our new team member at the Office of Student Success, Ms. Sabina Ahmadova. 💬
The session began with a lively ice-breaking activity that helped students warm up and connect with one another. This set a positive tone for the discussion that followed, where Sabina khanum spoke about the power of empathy and the importance of listening not only to what is said, but also to what is felt. 🌿
In the practical segment, students actively participated in exercises designed to strengthen their ability to understand others’ perspectives and respond with genuine care and awareness. It was inspiring to see our freshmen fully engaged, reflecting on how empathy can transform communication both inside and outside the classroom. 🤝
We’re delighted to welcome Ms. Sabina Ahmadova to our team and look forward to many more sessions that inspire growth and connection! 💚

As part of the MyADA Freshman Adjustment Course, students participated in an inspiring workshop titled “The Q’s of Leadership: Unlocking Effective Leadership Through Intelligence Quotients” led by Gunel Musayeva. 🌟
The Director of the Office of Student Success, Mr. Elchin Rizayev, warmly welcomed the participants, emphasizing the importance of cultivating leadership skills early in their academic journey.
During the session, students explored the multidimensional nature of true leadership — one that extends beyond traditional intelligence (IQ) to include Emotional (EQ), Moral (MQ), Body (BQ), and Adaptability (AQ) quotients. Through reflection and discussion, they learned how balancing these intelligences shapes effective, compassionate, and resilient leaders. 💡

🌟 A New Era of Student Success at ADA University! 🌟
Today, ADA University proudly celebrated the Official Opening Ceremony of the Student Success Coaching Service — an inspiring milestone that marks the beginning of a new chapter in empowering our students through personalized guidance and reflection.
After a successful year-long pilot phase, the Student Success Coaching Service is now officially part of our university-wide support system! This initiative is designed to help students identify their strengths, set academic goals, and build confidence as lifelong learners. Through meaningful one-on-one conversations, Success Coaches guide students to take ownership of their learning and achieve balance across their academic, personal, and extracurricular lives.
🎤 The ceremony featured welcoming remarks from Mr. Elchin Rizayev, Director of the Office of Student Success, and an encouraging address from Dr. Elkin Nurmammadov, Vice Rector of Academic Affairs. Attendees also enjoyed insightful presentations, reflections from our dedicated Success Coaches, and inspiring video stories showcasing the impact of coaching on student growth and achievement.
