Our MYP 3 Jupiter class has successfully carried out a meaningful Service as Action project, turning compassion into real impact.
The journey began with student-led fundraising event at school, where our learners showed incredible initiative and teamwork. With the funds raised, they thoughtfully selected toys and gifts to bring joy to children living at the ‘Nur Uşaq Evi’ orphanage. In addition, with the generous support of parents, food was arranged to make the visit even more special.

Today, students, parents, and teachers came together to visit the orphanage, creating unforgettable moments with the children. The day was filled with laughter, board games, shared activities, and warm connections. Everyone enjoyed spending quality time together, followed by a cheerful lunch that brought smiles all around.

This project beautifully reflects the spirit of the IB MYP—developing caring, responsible individuals who take action to make a positive difference in their communities.

We extend our sincere gratitude to our supportive parents, dedicated teachers, and our amazing students for their collaboration and commitment. Your efforts made this initiative truly meaningful and successful.

Together, we learn. Together, we care. Together, we make a difference.

In honor of Autism Awareness Month, the Service as Action project MYP2 Jupiter carried out a meaningful and heartwarming initiative centered on inclusion, empathy, and community connection. Through their fundraising efforts, the students were able to purchase thoughtful gifts for autistic children, bringing joy and a sense of appreciation to each participant.

The project went beyond donations. The group organized a friendly gathering at , where children and students came together to play board games, share conversations, and simply enjoy each other’s company. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and warmth as they spent time over tea, coffee, and cookies, creating a space where everyone felt welcome and valued.

This experience highlighted the true importance of Service as Action projects. Such initiatives encourage students to step outside of their daily routines and engage with real community needs. They build empathy, understanding, and a sense of responsibility, while also making a genuine difference in the lives of others.

The MYP2 Jupiter project is a great example of how small actions—when done with care and purpose—can create meaningful impact. By dedicating their efforts to Autism Awareness Month, the students raised awareness and created a day full of kindness, connection, and unforgettable memories for everyone involved.
