🌍✨ Resource HUB | Within the framework of WUF13 Festival and Baku Urban Week 2026, actively participated in a series of events focusing on community development, women’s leadership, and sustainable cities.

🎉 2 May – Members of the “Eco Ambassador Girls” program participated in the WUF13 Festival held in Lankaran city. Awareness-raising sessions were conducted by the Neftchala Qaraman Community, Lankaran NextStep community, mentors, and Eco Ambassador girls.

🌱 4 May – The participation of students from Gabala and Ismayilli State Vocational Education Centers in the “Eco Ambassador Girls” program within the WUF13 Festival contributed to strengthening practical skills in urban planning, sustainable development, and environmental responsibility.

✨ 5 May – The “Bright Entrepreneur Women Network” from Sheki, part of the Resource HUB Women Communities Program, successfully represented at the WUF13 Festival.

🤝 11 May – A panel discussion and community presentations titled “Inclusive Urbanism: Women, Communities and a Sustainable Future” were held at Karabakh University in Khankendi. With the participation of experts from various countries, discussions focused on inclusivity, climate adaptation, and the role of communities.

🎉 13 May – Within Baku Urban Week, the event “Women as Drivers of Inclusive Cities” was organized in collaboration with Yelo Bank. A “Women Community Bazaar” showcasing women entrepreneurs, an international panel discussion (Azerbaijan, Germany, Italy, USA), and participation of various sector representatives focused on the future of inclusive cities.

🌿 21 May – The Qaraman Community Center, part of the Resource HUB Women Communities Program, organized the event “Transforming Communities: Community-Based Urban Initiatives.” With the participation of experts from Egypt and Germany, the role of communities in sustainable urban development was highlighted.

💚 These activities once again demonstrated Resource HUB’s commitment to empowering women, community development, and promoting inclusive approaches for sustainable cities.

Resource HUB tərəfindən təşkil olunan bu sessiya psixoloji tarazlıq, aydın düşüncə və davamlı sağlam həyat tərzi mövzusuna həsr olunub.
Sessiyanın aparıcısı Vəfa Qəhrəman — ICF beynəlxalq sertifikatlı kouç, təlimçi və təhsil mütəxəssisidir. O, geniş peşəkar təcrübəsinə əsaslanaraq müəllimlər, gənclər və müxtəlif sahələr üzrə peşəkarlar üçün inkişafyönümlü təlimlər həyata keçirir.

Vəfa Qəhraman Everest və Lhotse zirvələrini eyni ekspedisiya çərçivəsində travers etmiş ilk azərbaycanlıdır. 25 dekabr 2025-ci ildə Azərbaycanda idmanın inkişafına verdiyi töhfələrə görə “Tərəqqi” medalı ilə təltif olunmuş, 2026-cı ildə isə Azərbaycan Respublikası Gənclər və İdman Nazirliyinin Kollegiya qərarı ilə alpinizm üzrə ölkənin rəsmi İdman səfiri seçilmişdir.

Peşəkar fəaliyyətində o, kouçinq metodologiyasını ekstremal şəraitdə qazandığı real təcrübə ilə birləşdirərək iştirakçılara praktik və tətbiq oluna bilən alətlər təqdim edir. Yanaşması daxili liderlik, emosional dayanıqlılıq və effektiv qərarvermə bacarıqlarının inkişafına yönəlib.

Layihə Litva, Azərbaycan, Gürcüstan, Kosovo, Monteneqro, Almaniya, Portuqaliya, Ukrayna və Türkiyədən olan gəncləri bir araya gətirərək iqlim dəyişikliyi və iqlim ədaləti mövzularını interaktiv sessiyalar, müzakirələr və praktiki fəaliyyətlər vasitəsilə öyrədici mühit yaradıb. ♻️🌱

Bu beynəlxalq təcrübə gənclərin ekoloji məsuliyyətini gücləndirməklə yanaşı, yeni baxış bucaqları, bilik mübadiləsi və güclü əlaqələr qurmaq üçün dəyərli platforma olub.🤝💚

Resource HUB volunteer Shefa Mammadzade participated in the “Climate-Conscious Youth Work” project held in Kaunas, Lithuania, from May 20–25, 2026. 🌍✨

The project brought together young people from Lithuania, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kosovo, Montenegro, Germany, Portugal, Ukraine, and Türkiye, creating an educational environment through interactive sessions, discussions, and practical activities focused on climate change and climate justice. ♻️🌱

This international experience not only strengthened young people’s environmental responsibility but also served as a valuable platform for gaining new perspectives, exchanging knowledge, and building strong connections. 🤝💚

Resource HUB-ın Qadın İcmaları Proqramının üzvü olan Neftçalada fəaliyyət göstərən Qaraman İcma Mərkəzi WUF-13 çərçivəsində “Dəyişən İcmalar: İcma Əsaslı Urban Təşəbbüsləri” adlı tədbir təşkil edib. 🤝

As a member of Resource HUB’s Women Communities Program, the Qaraman Community Center operating in Neftchala organized an event titled “Transforming Communities: Community-Based Urban Initiatives” within the framework of WUF-13. 🤝
During the event, representatives of Resource HUB, along with Heidy Shalabi, Head of Department at the Egyptian Ministry of Environment, and Bohdan Androshchuk, Manager at the German Social Synergy company, shared their experiences with participants. 🌍
The event highlighted the important role of communities in promoting sustainable and inclusive urban development and emphasized the value of community-based approaches. ✨

🇷🇴 Baia Mare, Romania | ESC VOLUNTEERING 🇪🇺

📅 18 May 2026 – 30 December 2026 (50 weeks)

The volunteer will take part in supporting non-formal education activities for children and youth across urban and rural communities. Responsibilities include helping design and implement social inclusion activities, facilitating workshops, and assisting educational programs for diverse age groups ranging from kindergarten to university level.

🔹 What is provided?
Accommodation, travel cost reimbursement, food and pocket allowance, bicycles and/or public transport for local mobility, insurance, training courses, and mentoring throughout the project.

🔹 Participant profile
Youth aged 18+ (with fewer opportunities prioritized), who are open-minded, responsible, motivated to learn, and interested in working with children and young people in multicultural environments. Basic English level is required.

Young people aged between 18-30 who are interested in environmental education, social inclusion, farm life, creativity, and working with children and youth in an international environment.

🇸🇰 Trnava, Slovakia | ESC VOLUNTEERING 🇪🇺

📅 1 July 2026 – 30 June 2027 (12 months)

Volunteers will support the daily activities of an independent cultural centre in Trnava, helping organize cultural and educational events, exhibitions, residency programmes, and community activities. Tasks may include event preparation, venue setup, communication, photography, promotion, and collaboration with local and international artists and communities.

🔹 What is provided?
Accommodation, food allowance, practical training, mentorship, and a multicultural learning environment.

🔹 What will you gain?
Experience in cultural management, event production, communication, visual content creation, international cooperation, and community engagement through a hands-on learning-by-doing approach.

🔹 Participant profile
Young people aged between 18-20 and who are interested in culture, arts, and community work who are proactive, creative, open-minded, and motivated to learn. Interest in event organization, photography, social media, or cultural projects is a plus, but prior experience is not required.
