Who is Elnur Huseynov?

Elnur Huseynov is an independent contractor and the active CEO at Highlight Events, a full-service event management company.

Elnur started his career as an interpreter for a project of the Council of Europe in 2005 when he traveled to Barcelona. He later spent a year in Cuba working with the local community to promote the spirit of democracy and human rights. Years later, life took him to Medellin, Colombia, where he supported Swiss investor’s operations in coal mining fields. Upon completion of the contract, Elnur returned to Azerbaijan to act as executive director of the leading corporate travel brand, Hogg Robinson Group, where he managed over 50 people in 4 offices across the country. Seven years later, he moved to Turkish Airlines to become the first local senior manager in charge of corporate business. Elnur then moved to Istanbul to serve as a Business Development Advisor to a group of companies specializing in construction, tourism, and education. He became his own boss in 2018 and set up his consultancy firm with passion in mind to add value to what he does best: helping people succeed.

He holds a BA degree in Translation (Spa-Eng), two MA degrees in Linguistics, International Relations, and Conflict Resolution, a non-degree certificate from the faculty of Philosophy and Literature, Universidad Autonoma de Madrid. Elnur worked extensively in Europe and Latin America and brings with himself 14 years of experience all over the globe in international partnership, business development, language, and training.

Elnur is a highly sought-after public speaker, educator, and adjunct instructor. He continues to teach MBA courses on marketing management, international management, and soft skills at Khazar University and ADA University.
