Dear all,⚡
Greetings from Well Engineering School!
✍🏻On 11th of May, model exam was carried out at a Well Engineering School to assess the proficiency of students in the field of drilling engineering. The exam was designed to check students' understanding based on sessions covered. It tested the students' understanding of technical concepts, problem-solving skills, and ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations.
📔The model exam was conducted under strict exam conditions, with students being given a limited time to complete the exam. The examiners used a range of assessment methods, including multiple-choice questions, short answer questions, and practical exercises. The model exam was a valuable experience for both students and Well Engineering School, providing insight into the strengths and weaknesses of the students' understanding and the effectiveness of the educational programs.

Dear all,🚀
Greeting from Well Engineering School!
On 7th of May, the last session of Drilling module has been carried on drilling bits, which is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to select, design, and use drilling bits for various drilling applications. The session is conducted by experienced instructor- Akram Miriyev who is Lead Drilling Engineer at bp with a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise.
During the session, participants are introduced to the different types of drilling bits, including roller cone bits, PDC bits, diamond bits, and other types of fixed cutter bits. They learn about the construction, design, and working principles of these bits, as well as their advantages and limitations. The session also covers the factors that influence drilling bit selection, such as formation characteristics, drilling objectives, bit wear, and drilling environment. Participants learn how to analyze drilling parameters as weight on bit, rotary speed, and drilling fluid properties, to optimize drilling performance and bit life.
📸Here are some photos shared with you.
We are extremely grateful for our honorable speaker- Akram Miriyev for dedicating his time and energy for making contribution to knowledge of trainees. We look forward having more sessions with him in the upcoming future!⚡
