The topic of the lesson was the Present Perfect tense and speaking skills. Through the projector, the Present Perfect tense was discussed together with the students. Afterwards, a speaking activity was organized around the same topic. The teacher’s lesson plan was comprehensive and well-structured. There was a creative atmosphere in the classroom. From this perspective, the lesson can be considered satisfactory and productive.

📍We would like to inform that, with the support of the U.S. Embassy, Johnae Spain, who works as an assistant in the Department of Foreign Languages, participates in the classes of the department’s teachers once every two weeks. It was noted that during these sessions, the teaching process is conducted directly by Johnae Spain. At the same time, the teachers of the respective groups attend the classes as observers and benefit from the methods and approaches applied by Johnae Spain during the lesson. This process contributes to the professional development of teachers and the improvement of teaching quality.😍

📍On April 29, 2026, Johnae Spain attended a lesson conducted by Kazimov Fariz in group 259808. The lesson was mainly focused on the development of speaking skills. It was noted that the lesson was organized based on interactive methods, and discussions were held around the topic of “Smart Goals.” The topic was received with great interest by the students 😍

The preparation process for the Pearson exam has already begun. The selection of students who will participate in the exam is currently ongoing. At the selection stage, interviews are first conducted with students, and it is planned to involve students from various specialties as well as different course levels.
It has been stated that in the Pearson exam to be held in June, students will participate at different language levels (L2, L3, L4). The exam is planned to consist of two stages: Speaking and Writing. The Writing exam is scheduled for June 20, while the Speaking exam is planned to be held two weeks before the writing exam.
It was noted that the examiners for the Pearson exam will be Aygün Qasımova, Aygün Durur, and Sübi Qənbərova. In addition, it is planned to provide teachers with the necessary instructions regarding the organization and administration of the exam.
