Meeting Held at ADNSU with the Rector of Karaganda Buketov University, Kazakhstan

The rector of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ADNSU), Associate Professor Rufat Azizov, welcomed the guests and provided an overview of the academic programs, collaborative partnerships, ongoing projects, and dual-degree programs at the university, as well as its future goals.

Highlighting the growing cooperation between ADNSU and higher education institutions in Kazakhstan, the rector emphasized the shared academic trends between the universities and underlined the importance of joint scientific research projects.

The guests visited the History Museum, Cybersecurity Center, laboratories, and computer rooms, gaining a closer insight into the university’s facilities and academic environment.

Representatives of India’s O.P. Jindal Global University Visit ADNSU

On March 5, a meeting was held at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ADNSU) with representatives from India’s O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU).

During the meeting, discussions were held on student and faculty exchange programs, summer schools, joint scientific research projects, and other potential areas of cooperation between the two universities.

Memorandums of Agreement Signed Between ADNSU and Seven Universities of Kazakhstan

On March 4, a roundtable discussion dedicated to “Expanding Cooperation in Higher Education Between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan” was held at ADA University.

The event was attended by Sayasat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Emin Amrullayev, Minister of Science and Education of Azerbaijan, as well as the rectors of leading universities from both countries.

As part of the roundtable, the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (ADNSU) signed memorandums of agreement with seven leading higher education institutions of Kazakhstan:
• L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University
• Almaty Management University
• D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University
• S. Amanzholov East Kazakhstan University
• Korkyt Ata Kyzylorda University
• Sh. Yessenov Caspian State University of Technology and Engineering
• E.A. Buketov Karaganda University

These agreements aim to strengthen cooperation in education and research between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.

Congratulations on the start of the second half of the academic year, dear students!

The trip to Shahdag for our university’s teachers and students was organized with the aim of strengthening the comnection between the foreign students department and the students, as well as broadening students knowledge of the region’s cultural and natural landmarks. During the trip, various educational activities, excursions and outdoor events were held. Both students and teachers were able to enjoy the beautiful mountains views and discuss important academic issues in an informal setting.

The event was attended by Emin Əmrullayev, the Minister of Science and Education, Yalçın Rəfiyev, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, as well as heads and representatives of relevant government agencies, leaders of scientific and higher education institutions, responsible staff members involved in the organization of education for international students, and foreign students themselves.
