This year we celebrated our "Himno y Bandera" a whole week instead of just one day!
Monday March 9th we had Scol di Musica Rufo Wever and Edselyne Figaroa to interact musically with the students.
Tuesday March 10th the team got a presentation about the Shoco from Greg Peterson at Joia Iberostar Hotel. We got acquainted with Shoco Pirata!
Wednesday March 11th the kids started on their Shoco-artwork.
Thursday March 12th we all learned to make Pan Bati, young and old! Thank you Willem Seferina!
Friday March 13th Kevin Gumbs came to teach all the students how to dance a wals.
On Monday March 16th the 5th & 6th grade got a Mural Art Tour from Tito Bolivar in San Nicolas.
We ended on Tuesday March 17th with a beautiful and lively musical presentation from Grupo Zjeitu!
We are very blessed and grateful to all who made this week of celebration possible. We even had a little quiz for the team about the Shoco and the winning team got presented with a goodie bag from ATA!

Vandaag feliciteren wij onze juffr. Samantha Setrodjemino! Zij heeft de IPA nu helemaal afgerond! Aruba heeft nu een nieuwe leerkracht erbij! MPS SN is trots op juffr. Samantha. Nu is het Juffrouw Samantha met hoofdletter!!! Moge Onze Lieve Heer je rijkelijk zegenen! Pabien!

Op 30 januari 2026 had Mon Plaisir School SN haar Carnavalsviering op school.
De kleintjes kregen een Workshop over de bescherming van hun oren, ogen en huid. Dit terwijl de grote kinderen lekker aan de slag gingen met het versieren van een T-shirt. Thema van de viering was Shoconan Sabi (Wijze Uilen).
Dank aan Mighty Reds & Loutiza Raven voor hun prachtige presentatie, Celeste Richardson-Woodley voor haar Workshop T-shirt decoration en CJ Marketing voor de muziek. Een speciale dank aan de ouders die heel hard hebben gewerkt om hun kind een leuk zelfontworpen Shoco Sabi T-shirt te laten dragen.
De commissie heeft ervoor gezorgd dat alle leerlingen oordopjes kregen zodat ze zonder probleem konden dansen op de leuke muziek. Aan het einde van de viering werd van elke klas de leukste T-shirt uitgekozen.
Al met al een fantastische dag. Masha danki, zo vormen wij samen de eenheid!
