Yowie Bay Public School

This afternoon we opened our doors and welcomed our school community into our classrooms. The students loved showing and sharing all of the work they had produced this term!

Last night the Junior and Senior Ensemble performed at the Seymour Centre as part of the Spotlight Dance Festival. The student danced beautifully and represented Yowie Bay Public School with pride. Congratulations girls. Thank you also to Ms Alycia for supporting the girls on the night

Today we held our Stage 3 Spelling Bee, Number Crunchers, Pi and Rubik’s Cube competitions. Well done to all who participated! A big shout out to our Pi winner, who recited Pi up to 109 places, and our Rubik’s Cubed winner who solved the cube in 45.89seconds!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Today we held a Jersey Day SRC fundraiser, to raise money to support our furry and feathered friends at school. Being our Wellbeing Week, we also had a lot of fun with lunch time karaoke and our exciting SRC vs Teachers OzTag game. After a challenging game, the teachers were the winners 4-3. Special mention must go to TJ and Mrs Byrne, who were unanimously voted as players of the match. What a fantastic day! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
