🌟✈️ Southern Stars 2027 - Take Flight! ✈️🌟

This year’s theme was “Take Flight,” and our students truly did just that! It was an incredible experience filled with so much hard work, dedication, energy and excitement, all packed into one unforgettable weekend.

We are incredibly proud of every student who stepped onto that stage and represented our school.

A huge congratulations to all our performers you should all be so proud of yourselves!

This week is a special time to celebrate the vital role that School Administrative and Support Staff (SASS) and all non-teaching staff play in NSW public education. 💙🏫

We all know how important you are to our schools! 🌟 You welcome parents and carers, support our students’ learning 📚, maintain our facilities 🔧, and provide essential assistance to teachers, allowing them to focus on what they do best, teaching!

Your daily commitment, care and dedication are key to the smooth and effective running of our school. 🙌

This weekend, our incredible Aerobics Team takes to the floor at the National Championships! 🏆🔥

We’re so proud of all your hard work, dedication and commitment. Go out there, have fun, give it your all and enjoy the moment! 💪✨

P&C Fundraiser Disco – Tickets On Sale Now! 🎉
Get ready for a fun-filled night with music, games, prizes and plenty of neon! 💃🕺✨

When: 23rd September
Where: YNPS Hall

K-2 5pm-6:30pm
3-6 6:30pm - 8pm

Tickets are $20 per student and are available now via Flexischools. 🎟️

Your ticket includes:
💃 Disco entry
🍽️ A meal + drink
✨ Glow sticks
🎶 Music and dancing
🎁 Lucky door prizes
🏆 Games + prizes
🎨 NEON Paint Activity – bring a white T-shirt (or similar) to decorate with neon paint!

🍔 The canteen will also be operating on the night, with payments accepted by cash or card.

Our Year 3/4 students had a great day at Trent Barrett Shield yesterday! 🏉

It was wonderful to see such great teamwork, encouragement and sportsmanship throughout the day. We’re so proud of the way our students represented YNPS! 👏

📚✨ A Special Author Visit! ✨📚

We are excited to welcome Anthony Zarb to our school on Tuesday 25th August for a very special visit with our K–2 students! 🎉

Anthony will be sharing his wonderful book, Arlo’s Treasure, with our young readers. 🗺️💎📖

Our students will have the opportunity to step into Arlo’s adventure, explore the magic of storytelling and be inspired by the wonderful world of books and imagination. 🌟

We can’t wait for a fun-filled morning of stories, adventure and discovery! ❤️📚
