Pre-Spring jobs are a go! Cheers to Pinnacle Silviculture Contractors for helping us cranking away at potting, pruning, fertiliser and w**d control the last couple of weeks, Hit a record 8000 trees potted in a 7hr day last week!

to all our friends and customers, apologies - we've had pretty slow response times recently, after August 30 we should be all caught up in the nursery and back at the desk and phone (honestly can't wait for that!)

Phew! A big couple months here, we've dispatched over 500,000 seedlings across Australia and planted just over 330k seedlings on a new forestry project near Orange NSW with the help of a big crew of tree planters from Gum Leaf Planters, Drone spraying by Rowenfold Ag (Alexander Howes) and Helicopter spraying by Commercial helicopters Mudgee. And a shout out to our own little team at Spruced especially for stepping up - Cheers to all!

Next up potting, pruning, sowing and all the pre-spring jobs back at Black springs nursery. More videos to come!

Everyone in and around Melbourne, we'll be running fresh-cut Douglas fir Christmas trees down to Montrose Christmas Tree Farm this December - pick one up from our good friend Anthony on his beautiful family farm.

Our friends Alexander and Abby offered to run some tree stock to Melbourne for us yesterday. Didn't know what they were signing up for though...

I still reckon we could get another pallet on there somewhere!

Our little roadside stall is now open at the nursery in Black Springs - by popular demand!

We're a production nursery and not really set up to receive visitors throughout the year (outside xmas season anyway), but we get so many requests to visit or pick up plants that we've decided to open a little unmanned stall and honesty box with a lot of our range available. Come have a look and grab a plant anytime from 9am-6pm! 1964 Abercrombie Road, Black Springs.

Thanks Tony at Aeon Gardens for the big after-Autumn clean up effort! So satisfying to see everything buried under fallen leaves blasted again. That new mega leaf blower is a weapon!

Collecting seeds from these 20yr old Giant sequoias last week on a customer's property near Oberon - beautiful specimens 8-10m tall with gnarly fire-proof bark already
