History came to life for our Year 3 and Year 4 students on their recent excursion to St Helena Island.

Travelling across Moreton Bay, students explored one of Queensland's most fascinating historical sites, uncovering stories from the past and gaining a deeper understanding of life on the island many years ago.

From exploring the grounds to learning about the island's unique history, it was a day filled with curiosity, discovery and hands-on learning.

✨ Bling Your Ride for Scoot-ember on Tuesday 1 September ✨

We are kicking off Scoot-ember next week! Encourage your child to decorate their scooter and bring the scooter or a photo of the scooter to school on Tuesday 1 September for our "Bling Your Ride" launch day.

There will be prizes for the most "Blinged" scooters!

Students who actively travel to school every Tuesday throughout September will earn tickets into the draw to win a brand-new scooter thanks to Cr Nicole Johnston!

Get those decorations ready and let's start September moving!

📚✨ Another busy week ahead at St Sebastian’s!

Join us for Book Week, come dressed as your favourite book character with our Book Week Parade on Wednesday at 8:40am. Then stay for our Stay & Play from 9:00am, a wonderful opportunity for prospective families to explore St Seb’s and meet our community.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 All parents and carers are also warmly invited to our PFG Meeting at 6pm on Wednesday evening.

We look forward to seeing you there! 💙💛
