🏐STU Netball 2026🏐

What a year it has been for STU Netball!

With 22 teams representing the College in the 2026 season, it has been a year filled with some incredible achievements, milestones, memories and Grand Finals. Most importantly, our girls have continued to grow as players, support each other and represent STU with pride. Thank you for your commitment, determination, teamwork and encouragement of one another, it is what makes STU Netball so special.

Thank you to the STU Athlete Development Program (ADP) for working with our players throughout this season. Your training, guidance and commitment to developing the girls' strength, fitness and performance have made a significant contribution to their growth and success both on and off the court.

We extend our sincere congratulations to St Ursula's College Year 12 student Kobi, who has been nominated for a 2026 Secondary Schools Citizenship Award by The Order of Australia Association, Queensland Branch.

This prestigious award is presented to just 13 students across Queensland each year, recognising outstanding service and citizenship. Kobi was nominated in recognition of her significant contribution to the College and wider community. She currently serves as Regional Cadet Under Officer, demonstrating exceptional leadership, commitment and service.

In September, Kobi will attend a special Presentation Ceremony at Parliament House, where Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM, Governor of Queensland, will present each recipient with their award.

We are incredibly proud of Kobi's achievements and thank her for the dedication and service she continues to provide to both the College and the broader community.

A huge shout out to our St Ursula's College staff members and past students who were involved in the Yeppoon Choral Society's production of Sister Act over the weekend.

The four sold-out performances were a tremendous success, delighting audiences with their incredible music, energy, humour and talent.

Ms du Plessis - played Sister Mary Martin-of-Tours and a homeless person;
Miss Campbell - played Sister Mary Robert;
Miss Bedward - played a Nun, Bar patron and a homeless person;
Ms Blackwood - played the saxophone and clarinet in the band;
Mrs Boyd – played a Nun and a Bar patron.

Yeppoon Choral Society has a very close working relationship with the College, and we are incredibly proud of our staff and all those involved in bringing this production to life. From the performers on stage to the many volunteers and crew members working behind the scenes, the dedication, teamwork and countless hours of effort were truly inspiring.

Congratulations and well done to everyone involved!
