🌟 YEARS 9/10 SYDNEY EXCURSION 🌟

Our Stage 5 students have arrived in Sydney and kicked off their exciting 4-day adventure in the ‘big smoke’! After travelling by bus and train, they’re already exploring some amazing spots.

This afternoon, they’re enjoying the scenic beauty of La Perouse on Anzac Parade before heading to Circular Quay for a delicious dinner with stunning views.

Tomorrow promises more unforgettable experiences — starting with an ANZAC Memorial Tour at Hyde Park, followed by a visit to Qtopia, and ending the day with a Japanese style dinner at Gyuniku & Sushi Buffet.

WORLD OF WOMBATS
Students in K/1/2 Science have been diving into the fascinating world of wombats through their unit on wombat habitats.
They have created amazing wombat dioramas, showcasing their learning and creativity. These hands-on projects help bring science to life, connecting classroom learning with the natural environment right here in NSW.

We are so proud of their curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring native wildlife and ecosystems!

WE'RE OFF TO THE WESTERN REGION TRIALS!
What an outstanding achievement by our Yeoval Central School students at the Gobondery NARRAF Athletics Carnival yesterday!

A huge congratulations to Claudia, Victoria, James, Julie, Lucas, Reece, Brooke, Sophia, Caleb, Logan, Riot, Blayke, Audrey and Thomas for their incredible effort and sportsmanship throughout the event. Our students showcased exemplary behaviour and proudly represented our school community.

We are thrilled to announce that Yeoval Central School finished an impressive 3rd overall! Additionally, several of our athletes have earned the honour of representing Gobondery NARRAF at the upcoming Western Carnival on 18 September:

Audrey: 800m and Bagley Mixed Relay
Blayke: Bagley Mixed Relay
Reece: Bagley Mixed Relay, Shot Put and Discus
Thomas: 100m and Bagley Mixed Relay
We wish them all the very best as they continue to make us proud on the next stage.

BOOK WEEK COMMUNITY WALK
This morning, beloved book characters from Yeoval Central School went door to door visiting our local businesses and organisations! We were thrilled to share the joy of reading with special storybook readings by wonderful members of our community.

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating the magic of books and bringing our community closer together through stories: Royal Hotel, Billabong Takeaway, J&K Christie's Mechanical, AgNVet, Little River Landcare Group, Yeoval Red Cross Shop,
Yeoval Family Museum, Yeoval Baptist Church, UPA Yeoval Aged Care, Yeoval Bowling Club and Our Lady's Catholic Church.

Thank you also to the YCS P&C who ran the WAP Coffee Cart for our picnic in the park with refreshments and treats thanks to a Landcare Community Partnership Grant.
