Last week our sites at Morayfield, Yatala, Cairns, Virginia and Beresfield pulled on their team colours and got behind Fight Cancer Foundation Footy Colours Day.

This national charity funds cancer research, supports families affected by cancer and helps equip regional and remote hospitals.

Sausage sizzles, donations and a lot of team spirit later, we are proud to share that Major Training has raised $1,201 in our first ever Footy Colours Day.

Thank you to every team, every site and every person who wore their colours and gave what they could.

Big news for Queensland construction businesses looking to hire an apprentice.

TradieStart registrations are now open, with eligible employers able to receive incentive payments of up to $16,000 to help with the cost of hiring and supporting an apprentice.

The program covers eligible apprenticeships across construction, plumbing, electrical and engineering, with registrations limited to the first 2,500 eligible apprentices across Queensland.

Eligibility requirements, apprentice commencement dates, registration limits and payment milestones apply.
