There’s nothing quite like sharing a milestone together, and this lovely mum and daughter enjoyed their very first ride side-by-side. Gryffyn and Tinkerbell were absolute sweethearts taking care of them, with Bronwen guiding the way as instructor.
We love bringing parents and kids together to share moments like this and create memories that last a lifetime. 💛

Looking for something a little different these school holidays?

Dalriaida Park is offering a small number of hands-on horse program sessions where participants can learn, care for and ride our horses in a relaxed, supportive environment.

🐴 Private horsemanship & horse husbandry
🪮 Grooming, handling and care
🏇 Individual riding lesson
🌿 Small, private-group experience
✨ All experience levels welcome

Ages: 7–18
When: Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays
Time: 10:30am–12:00pm
Dates: 28 September – 9 October

$150 per participant
Add siblings or make it a friend group for +$75 per additional participant
Maximum 3 participants per group.

Only 6 sessions available, so places are limited.

Looking for an exciting hands-on activity for the kids these school holidays? We’re offering exclusive 1.5-hour private sessions focusing on horsemanship, horse care, and riding!

🗓 Dates: 28 September to 9 October
⏰ Days & Times: Mondays, Tuesdays & Fridays | 10:30am – 12:00pm
👤 Ages: 7–18

✨ What’s Included:
• Private horsemanship & horse husbandry (care, grooming, handling)
• Individual riding lesson
• Drop-off program

💰 Pricing:
• $150 per participant
• +$75 for each additional sibling (max 3 total)

Who else is obsessed with minis? We certainly are! 🐴❤️

They might be tiny, but miniature horses are versatile, brave, hilarious and absolutely full of personality! And no… they’re definitely not just hairy-hoofed dogs. 😉😂

Bronwen and Lizzie love showing off just how much these little horses can do — from in-hand work and showing to harness and driving.

And the best part? Miniature horses can make equestrian activities accessible to so many people. They’re certainly not just for kids! ❤️

At Dalriaida Park, we love helping our riders discover the skills, confidence and fun that comes with working with these incredible little horses.

When did you last check your helmet? ⛑️

A correctly fitted helmet is one of the most important pieces of safety gear you’ll ever use around horses. Even the best helmet can’t protect you if it doesn't fit properly—and for growing riders, fit can change faster than you think!

At Dalriaida Park, rider safety is always our top priority. We’re more than happy to check your (or your child's) helmet fit at your next lesson and give guidance on finding a comfortable, secure helmet that meets current safety standards. 🐴💚

Quick Helmet Fit Check:
1️⃣ Position: Sits level, just above the eyebrows.
2️⃣ Chin Strap: Fits snugly—allow just one finger under the chin strap.
3️⃣ Snug Fit: Should feel secure without rocking, but never painfully tight (keep an eye on this as kids grow!).
4️⃣ Ear Straps: The harness straps should form a clean "V" around the ears.

⚠️ Time to Replace?
Always replace your helmet after any fall or visible damage, if it fits too loosely or tight, or once it reaches 3-5 years old.
Standard Certification Check:
Make sure your helmet meets current standards like AS/NZS 3838:2026, EN 1384:2023, or ASTM F1163-15.

Griffin has been putting in the work in the arena with Bronwen, as they prepare for another fantastic week of lessons at Dalriaida Park.

This talented boy combines a willing attitude with plenty of personality, making him a wonderful riding partner. Every session he helps build confidence, develop skills, and strengthen the partnership between horse and rider.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back for another week of riding, learning, and enjoying time in the saddle.

Here’s a little peek at some of the beautiful herd we’re so lucky to care for!
Between rolling out fresh hay bales and making sure everyone has full tummies, our horses are feeling snug, happy, and so ready for the week ahead.

We’re gearing up for our next round of lessons, and there’s nothing we love more than welcoming new faces to the farm family. Whether you’re climbing into the saddle for the very first time or looking to build on your riding, we’d love to have you join us — on one of our wonderful horses or your own!

Our daytime riding lessons are perfect for home‑schoolers and flexible‑school families — building balance, coordination, focus, problem‑solving and confidence through hands‑on learning with horses. Bronwen and Lizzie bring loads of experience with kids and adapt their teaching styles to suit every rider

• Daytime home‑school sessions
• Flexible‑school daytime lessons
• Casual skill sessions or weekly development
• Parents & carers riding — with a supervising adult for any non‑riding under‑18s
