We have put together our commitment to child safety at The Hive Kingsville . It sets out what we expect from every educator, every day, and what children and families should always be able to expect from us.
Children should feel safe to speak up and know they can tell their grown ups about everything that happens at childcare. Families should feel comfortable asking questions or raising concerns. Our team must actively supervise, follow our policies and procedures, understand their responsibilities and continue to review and minimize risks.
Our commitment also includes creating a culturally safe environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families and maintaining zero tolerance for racism and discrimination.
We will keep having these conversations with our children, families and team while always looking closely at our own practices.

Our Kinder children had a wonderful time participating in the Life Ed Harold’s Big Feelings incursion.

Through fun and engaging activities, the children learned about healthy food choices, looking after their bodies, managing big feelings, and ways to keep themselves safe.

It was a fun and meaningful learning experience for our children. A big thank you to Life Ed for visiting us and sharing such an engaging incursion with our Kinder children

Welcome to our Kinder team.

Take a look at our outdoor learning spaces, thoughtfully created and set up together by our educators and children. It’s wonderful to see children’s ideas, interests and creativity reflected in the environment.

These inviting spaces encourage children to explore, make choices, share ideas and learn through play.

🐄🐑 Learning Through Play! 🐑🐄

Our pre-kinder children had a fantastic time matching farm animals today! 🐖🐓
From cows to chickens, they enjoyed identifying, pairing, and learning all about their favourite farm friends.

Activities like these help build memory, recognition, and early learning skills in a fun and engaging way. 🌈
So proud of our little learners for their excitement and participation! 👏
