Supporting West Coast Swing dancing in Melbourne! We are a West Coast Swing Dance School based in Melbourne Australia.
West Coast Swing is a partner dance with roots in the Lindy Hop. It is characterized by an elastic look that results from its extension-compression technique of partner connection and is danced primarily in a slotted area on the dance floor. It is easy to learn and danced all over the world - so whatever city you are in, you can find a dance!

Our friends at Toniq Dance and West Coast Swing Melbourne are hosting an incredible day of west coast swing workshops followed by a Christmas / Year end dance party. Come for workshops or social dancing or both!

Note the social will be Modern Jive friendly too so if WCS isn’t quite your thing - bring along your MJ friends and join the party! We love all our dance friends!

Hi Everyone,
For the past two years the team and I have greatly enjoyed bringing West Coast Swing to you all in Melbourne. However due to some changing personal circumstances, I have to make the hard decision to discontinue classes on Thursday nights in Seddon. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank the community for all the support they have shown us.
It’s so good to see so many people discovering our dance and the Melbourne scene come back to life over the last few years. We’d absolutely love to see our students keep up their dance journey with our good friends at West Coast Swing Melbourne in Abbortsford, toniq dance out in Ringwood and Pachanga Dance Studio in Bayswater.
We still plan to bring you the occasional social event - and of course we’ll be out and about at the other classes in town - so you’ll see us around the traps.
Thanks for all the dances and we’ll see you on the dancefloor soon!
