We are so excited to share something special with our Grow & Learn children šŸ’›

A huge thank you to local small business Dad Man Trading Gifting for generously donating a ā€œPoop or Prizeā€ 3D printed gift, along with a range of fun little 3D printed goodies to help get our prize box started!

The children are absolutely loving it already and can’t wait to see what surprises they might win šŸŽ‰

We are so grateful for the support from our local community it truly makes a difference in creating fun, engaging experiences for the kids.

Thank you again, DadMan šŸ™ŒāœØ

Got a creative kid at home who loves making things? This is their chance to shine.

5FOLD Indoor Creative Kids Market is back on Saturday 2 May 2026. It is a fun
community market where kids can create their own stall sell their handmade goodies and learn a little about running their own small business.

Plus their popular Market Money is back. Lucky shoppers receive Market Money to spend at the kids’ stalls and they exchange it for real money at the end of the day.
Families are also invited to go along support their young entrepreneurs and find something special for Mother’s Day.

If any children would like to run their own stall they can complete the stall application here

Big feelings can feel so heavy for a child.
Sometimes what we see on the outside is just the tip of what they’re carrying inside.

A child who melts down, snaps, or shuts down is often not giving you a hard time they’re having a hard time. Their brain is still learning how to manage big waves of emotion, and those waves can feel overwhelming without support.

When we shift from
ā€œWhat’s wrong with you?ā€ to ā€œWhat’s going on for you?ā€, everything changes. We start to see the load they’re carrying, not just the behaviour we’re trying to stop.

The good news is that emotional regulation is a skill. And like any skill, it can be taught, practised, and strengthened with the right tools and guidance.

Children’s Week is a national event held annually around the fourth Wednesday in October, promoting awareness of children’s rights under the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) .

This year, the theme for Children’s Week is: Everyone should know about Children’s Rights.

This derives from Article 42 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child: ā€œParties undertake to make the principles and provisions of the Convention widely known, by appropriate and active means, to adults and children alike.ā€

The Children’s Week Council has created a free poster for you to download, so that more educators and families can understand what rights children have: https://zurl.co/EJouU
