Sunday Yoga is back! This time in the afternoon.
My classes are grounding and healing yet heating and challenging - meditation in movement. My philosophy is ‘less is more’. I don’t push. Instead, I support ‘letting go and letting down’ which is the opposite of our habitual efforting and 'human doing'.
I am a skilled teacher and plan each class carefully. Yet I look at my students in a humble way and intuitively adjust my teaching to their needs. I embody stillness and kindness and invite each student into the space to experience this themselves.
Your first class is only $5! You’ll need to book in (COVID requirement) so please comment or dm me to secure a spot. I accept bookings until Saturday afternoon.
Casual Class: $20
Mat hire available. I encourage you to bring your own.

Pregnancy Yoga is coming to Marcoola! I am so excited to be offering yoga to expecting mothers.
This is a six week course in which you will learn basic breathing techniques to use during pregnancy and labour as well as many poses to alleviate discomfort. Leave each session relaxed and nourished.
Join other expecting mothers in these group sessions designed for the pregnant body. These classes target the muscles needed during childbirth as well as early motherhood. You will leave each class feeling nourished and relaxed.
Classes vary each week but every week we practice some breathing exercises, yoga poses that suit the growing belly and meditation that support you and your new role as a mother.
Become a part of this lovely community and meet other pregnant mums. Classes are ideal for women in the second and third trimester. No prior yoga experience needed.

Yoga. So much more than stretching. It is life, awareness, presence and focus.
Sunday mornings with are the highlight of my week. It is the time where I can connect to myself and be in my body as I’m learning to explore my body after pregnancy and childbirth. So much has shifted and changed.
Thank you to all teachers past, present and emerging for sharing their wisdom.

Beautiful words 💕
I am no longer waiting for a special occasion; I burn the best candles on ordinary days.
I am no longer waiting for the house to be clean; I fill it with people who understand that even dust is Sacred.
I am no longer waiting for everyone to understand me; It’s just not their task
I am no longer waiting for the perfect children; my children have their own names that burn as brightly as any star.
I am no longer waiting for the other shoe to drop; It already did, and I survived.
I am no longer waiting for the time to be right; the time is always now.
I am no longer waiting for the mate who will complete me; I am grateful to be so warmly, tenderly held.
I am no longer waiting for a quiet moment; my heart can be stilled whenever it is called.
I am no longer waiting for the world to be at peace; I unclench my grasp and breathe peace in and out.
I am no longer waiting to do something great; being awake to carry my grain of sand is enough.
I am no longer waiting to be recognized; I know that I dance in a holy circle.
I am no longer waiting for Forgiveness.
I believe, I Believe.

My mat. My sanctuary. My time to practice presence.
This is the first time in six weeks after giving birth that I roll out my mat and I am beyond grateful for a few minutes to indulge in the ancient practice of yoga.

It is a challenging to find that inner place of peace within oneself out of which to respond to triggering situation. You can use different tools to find, remain and / or respond out or it. What tool do use? The breath? The calming of the mind? Mindful movement like yoga? Comment below.

I hope everyone is staying strong in these difficult times. There are many ways to stay centred and not get swept away by fear and anxiety. My recommendations are:
- create a ritual. Get up early in the morning and notice your breath.
- find a solid base, someone to turn to when you just need to talk.
- get your body moving. Yoga is a great way to stretch and strengthen your body and so many places offer free online sessions now. Give it a go.
- journal. Write down your thoughts and emotions.
-count your blessings. There are still so many things to be grateful for.
These are just a few ideas. Stay strong. Like virabhadra - the ancient warrior.
