Our students are crafting together and learning with their hands.
We are budgeting and working out ways we can make dolls with natural and recycled materials.
We are working together in teams and discovering each other’s strengths.
We are also building dexterity!

Our 5/6s are off to Melbourne camp! There was a mixture of nervousness and excitement. We hope they have the best time with the 5/6s from Daylesford Primary! 🌟

Our classroom here at Yandoit is very intimate today. We are looking forward to learning in the big kid's classroom and enjoying the quiet! 😂 Lots of one on one learning for these guys this week.📚

Last week we went for a morning walk to the mulberry tree and the tennis courts. The mulberry tree is a summer highlight for our students. This year the berries were super juicy! At the tennis courts we played a game of line tight before we headed back to school to start our work day 🌳

Our annual school Christmas concert is a highlight for us and one that the Yandoit community loves to come out and support.💛

It’s a joy to see our students grow in confidence, performing in front of a crowd, sharing their talents and celebrating another year of rich learning together.🌱

They performed a modern version of ‘Little Red Riding Hood’, directed by co-teacher Emily. There were songs performed and accompanied by Dave on guitar, Italian dancing and beautiful singing supported by teacher Signora Pascalia🫶🏼
We were lucky to have received a visit from Santa - thanks, Santa! ❤️
Our night finished with our traditional water fight in the school grounds; it was a lot of fun. 💦

A big thank you to Mr S, Emily, Dave, Pascalia, Deb, Michelle and Steph for another fantastic year at Yandoit P.S.💫
