I loved hanging with this gorgeous group at the garden medicine walk today.

As we chatted SO MANY herbs… something much more special happened…

Everyone swapped stories, nibbled leaves, sniffed flowers and shared laughter!

In amongst snacking on pesto and chopping tulsi everyone just was… together… enjoying each others company and being awed how amazing nature’s medicine is…

So grateful herbs bring people together and that I get to hang out with you all 🤗

And yes you know me, I’m always fully present so didn’t take a single photo 🤣 enjoy the nasturtium flower

Nature’s medicine chest is ready and waiting for you, you just need eyes to see it!

This Sunday, 2 August, come learn how to identify common weeds and garden plants you can use as medicine.

We’ll cover many you can use for first aid, digestive issues, colds and flu, skin issues, and healthy aging….

You’ll learn how to
🌿 identify a variety of medicinal herbs,
🌿 harvest your own medicine
🌿 how to use each herb and simple preparation techniques.

If you feel drawn to natural living, gardening, self sufficiency, homesteading, or kitchen medicine then you’ll love this walk!

That we’ve bought everything together in one place!

It’s not just medicine-making, foraging, growing or how to use herbs for everyday health issues (like period pain, first aid, headaches etc)

It’s not just for total beginners, dabblers or intermediate…

It’s ALL of it!!!

Why am I so darn proud of this!?

1. Cause you can start where YOU’RE interested, and your current skill level and follow your OWN herbal path (or the one we’ve laid out, cause I know so many of us just want clarity and to ditch the mental load!)

2. Aaaand cause usually these skills are taught separately but in the Club we put everything together, so your learning can build on itself…

and save you a tonne of money, cause whatever you want to learn, it’s all there!!)

Doors open only 2 more days this round, come join us, it’s heaps of fun and I know you’ll love it!

Link in bio or drop a comment and I’ll send it to you (on human time)

Trick question! Cause it’s all of the above!

The thing about herbs is… they don’t just do one thing.

So this 5-minute remedy, made with one herb, can do at least 4 useful things in your home (and honestly, sooooo much more too!)

As home herbalists, with limited time, budget and shelf space, the multi-purpose, multi-tasking versatility of herbs is boss!

It’s remedies like these that are game-changers when it comes to making herbalism feel accessible and achievable at home, even when you’re busy with a mental load that won’t quit!

Come learn how in the Home Herbalist Club!

My one-stop-shop, whole-hearted online home for learning simple herbal remedy skills with ease… in a supported community and with mentoring!

Doors open tmrw for 1 week, hit up bio or drop a comment below and I’ll send you the link (on human time)

Birdsong, sunshine, time slowing down.

No notifications or to-do list. Just you, the garden, and whatever’s ready to be picked today.

I think we forget how much our nervous systems crave this… quiet, dirt under our nails, the soft breeze in our hair. It’s medicine in itself 🤗🌿

Slow, grounded living really is a radical and intentional act in today’s world… and it starts with something as simple as stepping outside.

Are you getting some garden time this week? What are you harvesting!?

PS doors to Home Herbalist Club open next week…. Learn to grow and forage weeds for food and medicine (as well as make and use remedies yourself. It’s an epic wholehearted space to learn with a like-minded community.

Was reallllly excited to spot my favourite wild weeds (okay, *one of* my fav weeds) as I was foraging my garden for dinner tonight.

Herbs aren’t just food or natural medicine but this beautiful relationship with the natural world…

One that can bring immense joy, gratitude and a sense of belonging…

One where I’ll even say say, “I love you”, to my dinner.

Anyone else do that!?

Love a good planner! It helps sooooo much to have a place to record garden notes, even to just remember what species you’ve planted and any growing notes…. Along with the usual planting/ harvest dates etc.

and you could even pop recipes or anything else helpful in there too.

If you don’t have a garden planner like this, you could make a Herbal Home planner (which we’ll have in the Home Herbalist Club this winter!!)

Love it Pip Magazine

And people ask me all the time where to get medicinal seeds and seedlings from.

I love Mudbrick Herb Cottage and Eden Seeds and Select Organic and also head to your local markets or businesses to support local.

Tell me, do you use a garden planner?

this is either the best or worst thing I’ve ever posted… 🤣🤣🤣

You decide! (And maybe some reassurance in the comments wouldn’t go astray 😉🫠🤭)

Ps it’s last day to join Home Herbalist Club this round if you wanna be prepared for cold and flu season… as well as learn to make, grow, forage and use herbs in daily life.
